Toonami will air its final transmission tonight, with a special announcement at 10:30pm

And so continues the destruction of Cartoon Network.

Good riddance. I thought it went down the crapper once they replaced Rurouni Kenshin with Cyborg 009. :/

Oh, yes. That's when I stopped watching it.

I actually had no clue it was still on.

Wow. I can't believe this actually happened.

I used to watch Toonami in its glory days, back when they had shows like Tenchi and Outlaw Star. I think I stopped watching after Hamtaro premiered (hated that show, especially how Laura seemed to be such an attention whore in the plots, but still remember and love TOM's reaction to it: "Well, they are kind of cute...").

But man, it's hard to believe CN actually pulled the plug, even in these days when the only way to attract viewers is to air live-action programming and dumb everything down for the little kiddies.

Crying or Very sad

You too? Yeah, Kenshin was what made Toonami truly wonderful. I also remember being an avid watcher of Tenchi Muyo! and Tenchi in Tokyo back in 5th/6th grade.

No!! That really stinks! They used to have all of "DragonBall Z", "DragonBall", "DragonBall GT", "Pokemon", "Zatch Bell", "Bobobo-Bobobobo", and the rest of the very good anime shows that I like! Hopefully, they'll put a new programming block that shows good anime shows.

I liked it back when that Spaceghost villain hosted it. I forget his name...started with a b, I think, but it wasn't Brak.

Anyway, I just liked it for "Reboot."

Toonami was the anime that got me into shows like Outlaw Star and The Big O. Its a shame to see it go, but its not that surprising considering how much worse Toonami got over the years. Still, sad to see it go.
