I suffer a lot from acidity in my stomach, maybe even gastritis. I am very anxious or worry constantly and I see that producing acidity can come from too many worries. Is it linked somehow with ADHD or Aspergers. How many among us suffer form acidity?

I have had a history of gastritis but it was all due to stressful events. I am not sure in my case it has anything to do with autism or ADHD.

my dad had it...acidity, it might be hereditary, I just wouldn't like to end up with an ulcer one day

Or perhaps autism and adhd cause stress which causes acidity.

I have restlessness and anxiety, but not acidity.

i suffer from pretty extreme anxiety and stress which im fairly certain is linked to aspergers. It tends to make me snap at people, have breakdowns, or become somewhat of an insomniac though - i think i have a strong stomach. Smile

I also tend to have restlessness/nervousness & anxiety. It doesn't always coincide with acidity though. Really depends upon how upset I become. Upset me a lot, & I cannot go near food at all.
