Many people with autism are considered to live in a world all of their own. But is it any less real than the culture we inhabit?

Focusing on high-functioning autism and Asperger's Syndrome, Real Life follows the lives of four individuals with this disabilitiy:how they live, survive and flourish and demonstrates the fascinating drama that is their real life.

Real Life is an original, full-scale play with music written by KelsyAnne Schoenhaar and performed by Encore Studio for the Performing Arts, the only professional theater company for people with disabilities in the state of Wisconsin and one of the very few in the United States. Encore Studio is a resident theatre company of Madison's Bartell Theatre.

"...one of the most moving theatrical productions I've seen in some time"-
Kenneth Burns, Isthmus

Judging by your subject, I thought you were using an illustration to describe real life.
