i got 107 out of 200...it said, i most likely had "both aspie and NT traits"

what's happening to me? this is my lowest score yet!

it's always said "you are most likely an aspie" before today...

maybe i'm learning to do this whole "human being" thing...

maybe asperger's is NOT a life-long personal developmental disorder in some cases...

any thoughts?

I personally don't think the test is very accurate. If you already know the symptoms of AS, which almost everyone on this site does, then it is impossible to overcome an incredible amount of bias when answering. Also, a lot of aspies (and NT's, too) have difficulty interpreting those kinds of questions. How much is "a lot"? How much is "a little"?

without gettign hung up on answers that contain the word bias, anallysis and statistical there are 2 reasons why thi shappens, in my opinon.

1. AS can and do learn to adapt to non As ways. we can self limit the bad behaviour to a certain extent and "normalise"

2. when one does a test over and over again, you become used to the answers, you know what the test has said before you knwo how a typical As person would respond and there is inherent bias ( sh** sorry) in doing the test again.

the tests are not objective.

If you answer according to your current situation it is natural if scores go down. It just means you've become better at coping. If you want to know if you have the traits or not, you should answer according to how you were as a teenager, or how you function without the coping skills.

Laughing I'm only 2 out of 200, and I'm not really that old... those were my results from when I was 12.

Lol. I've taken it five times over the course of my life and always score between 140 and 170.

I score between 120 and 130, and I think that's about right going over my personal traits.
