You emphasized the second person pronoun yourself. The author is addressing his first century audience. He didn't say "It will be the last hour in 2000 years" but "it is the last hour." On what grounds can you say the last hour is today?
Not sure if I explain it, but here it goes. We have been in the last hour since John wrote that in 1 John 2:18. Even though the Father only truly knows as stated in Matthew 24:36. But this world and its state that it is in to Me, but that is a personal view. If You also read Revelation 3:10 and read Matthew 24:42; it is better to be on the watch of the hour, than take it for granted then in the end.

If the last hour is 2000 years, then the warnings of 1 John 2:18, Matthew 24:42, and every other warning in the New Testament was in vain. Furthermore, a 2000 year hour would contradict Paul.

Heb 10:37 For yet a little while, and he that shall come will come, and will
not tarry.

However, if AD 70 was the end, then Jesus and his disciples were correct.

I assure you that our God (the God to be more specific) can tell time perfectly. He created time. I'm only encouraging my fellow Christians to make sure they can say the same.

70 AD was just the finished of the Jewish Covenant and truly the beginning of the New Covenant that Jesus brought in for Mankind. So 70 AD means nothing today but this the temple that was destroyed in Jerusalem, and the Jews where scattered or enslaved again by the Romans. So We are in the New Covenant Time Today.

We are in the Day of Salvation, that means if anybody that wants worship God, they must do this through Jesus.

I get back to You about Hebrews 10:37 still doing some research it. There are a few Scriptures that deal with the words day(s), hour(s), and alike words.

As 2 Peter 3:8 "that one day is with the Lord as a thousand years, and a thousand years as one day." So what is one day or days, or one hour or even hours to God. I don't really know, do You really know.

I'm glad to see we agree on more than I previously assumed. I'm especially glad to see you've been studying. But note that God never said something was soon unless he meant it.

Dan 12:4 But thou, O Daniel, shut up the words, and seal the book, [even] to the time of the end: many shall run to and fro, and knowledge shall be increased.

Now compare this with John's Revelation concerning the same prophecy, where he is instructed to do quite the opposite.

Rev 22:10 And he saith unto me, Seal not the sayings of the prophecy of this book: for the time is at hand.

John was told the prophecy of Daniel was at hand. Daniel was written aproximately 563 years before Revelation. If it was still 2000 years away, John wasn't even half-way there.

I have the time of Daniel Prophecy to John and the writing of Revelation would have been 632 years; at least that what I got but was is a few years I don't know.

Daniel Prophecy and what John saw when writing the book of Revelation are the same. Daniel may have written, what He did but He was not to understand it, for it was not time to understand what was to happen in the future. This time of the end is near but it was even far into the future, of Our time that We Live in the hear and now in the end. For even what You have Quoted in Daniel 12:4 "many shall run to and fro, and knowledge shall be increased." During Daniel time this was shut up so Daniel would not understand it. In John time it was the beginning for Christians to understand Daniel's Prophecy and John's Revelation for it was time to understand it in the end. Even in these late days that We Live in We are getting a clearer understanding of Daniel's Prophecy and John's Revelation. Even though it is taking almost 2000 years. Should it truly matter or not how long it has taken to get to this time (Last Days); even though it may delay or not it is God's time scale not Our time scale that matters does it not in the end.

God has really low standards, i think he'd be fine seeing anybody naked. On the other hand, as bad as a job as he's done with the universe i wonder how good god is in bed.

In the film 'Bruce Almighty', God was personified as a black-watch wearing man. Given that film was written by a religious freak, and was utter sh*te, I conclude God cannot tell time.

God knows that there is no such thing as time outside of a construct in our minds. We live in a self-created temporal virtual reality. There is only now. Nothing will happen or has happened outside of our minds in the present moment.

It's an idea older than our idea of God. 1,500 years ago Saint Augustine envisioned his God as living in "a timeless present tense." For most of the last century a classic book, J.W.Dunne's "An Experiment With Time" has intrigued readers with the idea that in fact it is the same for us.

Time is a mental construct, meant not to be our master, but our tool.

If I could overcome my Executive Function Disorder, that would be useful knowledge.
