Bush vows not to lift embargo on "dungeon" Cuba
CORAL GABLES, Florida (Reuters) - U.S. President George W. Bush on Friday called Cuba a "dungeon" and vowed Washington would not lift its economic embargo until Havana released political prisoners and allowed free expression.
Speaking to Cuban-Americans on the anniversary of Cuba's independence from Spain in 1868, Bush said his administration offered aid to Havana after the island was hit by devastating hurricanes this year, but the communist government led by President Raul Castro refused......

I agree...
Really, I don't understand why we still have to act hostile towards Cuba. I don't see them as a threat so why keep this embargo up?
I think if we can get along with China we can get along with Cuba...

I know but if Bush don't like someone he refuses to talk to them, unless he can invade their country, he really is the worst president so far except for maybe Nixon. |

The worst dungeon in Cuba belongs to the US government.
Seriously, we made peace with China. Cuba is nowhere near as bad as China. I think maybe it's time to get over this grudge.

Actually Grant and Pierce were far worse a presidents, but Bush is up there. I mean, at least Grant was (and still is) a respected war hero.
