My thoughts on the Simpsons: It was an okay episode, I loved the Home/Flander chase scene>

My thoughts on Family Guy: It had it's funny moments, my only complaint are the athesist jokes. (I was offended by that.)

What were your thoughts?

Simpson's is the same old garbage every year, it should have been canceled after 10 years,
its not funny anymore. I don't think you got the joke about atheists in Family Guy.

I liked the erotic cake segment of the Simpsons episode.

I've abstained from TV for about 5 years now. These are probably the only shows I'd watch, but I remember the Simpsons becoming more copp-out humor than the original satire that made it great, and I heard Family Guy got really good for a season or two just by going overboard with irreverence, but has been pretty bland for a while now.

I did not see the Simpsons premiere, was probably taking a shower while it was airing.

Is it true Flanders turned into a Jason Bourne-ish character during the chase scene?

Also skipped Family Guy, but managed to watch American Dad.

It was one big running joke about aging, puberty, and old people.
But the idea of using Steve Smith as a guinea pig was hilarious!
He wanted to stay as a old man, but Stan Smith talked him out of it.

Question: Is it true that Seth MacFarlan does most of the voices for FG & AD?

Just asking.

Who's Jason Bourne?

And Seth McFarlane does many of the voices on Family Guy and American Dad, as well as Robot Chicken.

The main character from Robert Ludem's (SP?) books. They did a few movies, Boure identity, Bourne Ultimatum, ect. He is basically a top secret agent. Very deadly.

I thought both episodes was good, but I think I'm going to have to stop watching family guy because it keeps glorifiing weed use.

It seems like they're running out of ideas for Simpsons episodes. I miss the oldies. The show used to be SO much more funny and had way better story lines. the chase scene was funny though, and the marge thinking how her life would be different part. not that great of an episode though.

and I don't watch family guy.

I like Simpsons a lot, Family Guy is okay too but I fint it similar to Simpsons. To me, Peter and Lois seem like Homer and Marge.

I like both shows, but South Park is my favorite! It's a central theme in many of my posts.
