Do you think someone can have a lot of friends on Facebook and still be on the Autism Spectrum? _________________ Not by revolution but through evolution are all things accomplished in permanency.

I only add real friends. The list is called "friends" and not "random acquaintances" for a reason. _________________ WP doesn't have a working first amendment. |

The Facebook definition of "friend" is rather broad. _________________ WAR IS PEACE

Yes, definitely.
Clicking "add to friends" doesn't require a lot of social skills.
I have a ton of "friends" on Myspace. |

"Genuine" friends?
It's unlikely.
But then, I don't see many "NTs" with "genuine" friends either. |

Dunno about facebook (I'm not a member), but on myspace I had over 200 "friends"... and never talked to any of them. _________________ Put me to sleep evil angel,

I have 4 friends. I use it very rarely and I have met every one of them and consider them true friends.
I recently created a myspace page just so I could contact a band, don't want friends there.
I create very private/nondescript profiles usually.
I find social networking really complicated. It is one of the more advanced social 'skills'. I got friends from one on one interactions. It is better if they don’t know each other initially. |

same here. I have all my details listed, home number, adress etc wouldn't want that to get leaked, such info costs serious money in some circles lol _________________ I got some bad ideas in my head. (Taxi Driver) |

I do and I keep in touch with many of them a lot (not all but unless they really do something bad, I have no reason to delete them) _________________ I was told that I have PDD-NOS and ADHD- in other words, mild AS with a history of speech delay. Rejecting friend requests from people one barely know doesn't require social skills either. _________________ WP doesn't have a working first amendment. |
