Okay to recap I was banned from a chatroom a while ago (for not getting the social norms of the place and questioning them, then later on trying to do what others did and offending someone in the process) and a forum (associated with it) probably a month ago. In efforts to try to get back into the forum (as there are some people I like on the forum) I have been trying to sorta brownnose my way to the top (not exactally the best method I know but when I was banned right after I said I was sorry its kinda messed up to begin with.) Well anyway theres an aspie who goes there who seems to want to help me to get back in there and help me once I am in there, the problem is that he wont do it unless he basically can put himself above me (tell me when we will talk/when we wont talk, and just seems to be treating me poorly (like he broke conversation off after basically ordering me to stop talking to him, and not giving me his YIM screenname (I talked to him on mIRC and hate using that because I basically have to ask for the information to get any back which is annoying, especcially seeing as he has at least 2 names and I have to ask for both seperatly.)) Despite this I have no clue what to do... if I ever want to get back in and talk to my friends in there again I have to consent to his will and admit that I was totally wrong and everyone else was totally right (which they did most of the name calling), if I dont do this I cant talk to them again... I think I might just create a new name when I go home (to a differnt ISP) that they cant trace but that leads to other problems. I need help Sad.

1. Nobody ever "owes" you their contact information.
2. I'd need to know the details of what happened to know if you should apologize. For all I know it WAS all your fault; I don't have enough info right now.

Sounds like time for a cost-benefit analysis to me. What will make you less miserable, apologizing, or accepting the fact that you can't talk to these people again? Sometimes it's necessary to go with the lesser of two evils.

I'm with Serissa that nobody owes you their contact information and nobody is obligated to hold a conversation with you.

I don't know if its against the rules of the forums to evade a ban (its against the rules here, but they don't seem to ban people on whims like most of the other aspie forums on the net), but if it isn't, you can go here:

and use an anonymous proxy so you don't have to wait till you go home. Once you get in, you should probably just tell all your friends to come here... lol Twisted Evil
