I''ve only got one chapter drawn, and I can only do one page a day, because it takes my whole 4th period at school to scan the picture and use Photoshop to clean it up. There will be a few more pages of chapter one, then probably a break while I do chapter 2.

When drawing, use a blue pencil first to make some sketches, use it lightly.
Then, when you're happy, use a lead pencil.
And since you have photoshop, scan the page in color, because notebooks have blue lines (this is important).
When you open your scanned drawing in phtoshop, open Levels (Ctrl-L), select the blue channel and play with it. This will speed the cleaning.

Hey, thanks. That should help with the rest of my drawings, only I've already drawn the first chapter and most of chapter 2. There's going to be at least twelve chapters, though, so I'll have plenty of opportunity to try these techniques.
