For those who have supported me during the hard times when a job agency told me by accident that my boss was looking for someone to replace me....you'll be glad to hear that this cruel thing happened to my boss this week! What goes around comes around, and turns out the same agency told my boss that one of his favorite employees, one he was counting on very much, is almost signed with another company, and was looking for another job all this time behind his back. Boss is now getting a bit of the taste of what I went through. This is a new employee, and one the boss had invested a lot in training. _________________ "It is the wounded oyster that mends its shell with pearl" - Ralph Waldo Emerson |

Don't you just love poetic justice?
Also, it sounds as if this agency has privacy-control issues. Wow. |

Funny thing is the boss, acting all hurt, told this employee about the value of honesty, hahahaha!!!! The employee, who is my colleague and we're quite close, knows my story perfectly well, so talking to her about honesty was a real joke. _________________ "It is the wounded oyster that mends its shell with pearl" - Ralph Waldo Emerson |

You're right Greentea. Usually a 'professional,' such as an employer or supervisor who behaves badly (like how you were treated!) earns they're payback. I know some professionals can hide behind their superiority and superficial charm but hard work, talent, and integrity pay off! I think you've shown this!
I am sad you were mistreated at that workplace but maybe, in the long-term, it's for the best since now you CAN get that better job with an employer who deserves you, based upon your merit. You'll do just fine!

Thank you, Labpet, that's very nice of you! I'm a firm believer that what goes around comes around, and I love it when I get lucky and get to be a witness to it. _________________ "It is the wounded oyster that mends its shell with pearl" - Ralph Waldo Emerson |

| I too have had the satisfaction of seeing an ex boss of mine (who'd become an enemy) humiliated and eventually leave the organisation. NICE! |
