| My kids come first so i wear a lot of hand me downs from a teenager anyways because i'm small built and i definately can pass for a teenager though i am 31.. and i hate it sometimes when i'm trying to make more "grown up" friends... |

I'm 26 but frequently get mistaken for being a young teenager.
It seems especially worse if I dress casual (jeans & tshirt) and am clean shaven, so I try to dress older/smarter otherwise people dont seem to take me seriously. |

I'm almost 42 and have had silver streaks in my black hair since I was a teenager.
Oddly enough, since I'm pale and don't have any wrinkles yet (sunscreen, vitamins, and moisturizer to help balance out bad maternal genetics), people tend to think I'm in my 20's and that I frost my hair. I don't feel my age at all. _________________ Happily married female aspie. INTJ.

| 36 got a guess of 28 the other day. I think there is something to it. I have some lines. But they are all around my upper brow. I have always done this sort of thing with my brows up on the inside like opposite of a sinister look. Lower face not much expression. |

Almost 31, and everyone guesses 24.
This is why I grow a beard at times. It raises the median guess by 3 years. |

Hmmm...
I was always told I am an old soul... but picture a 40 something professional with ripped jeans, pink crocs covered in flower jibbitz, t-shirt with a sarcastic saying and it just looks weird. Feels right though.
When I have my hair dyed ginger, and you take into account the glorious fact that fat doesn't wrinkle, I can still look half my age... maybe less when I have my animal rucksack on.
Growing up means growing old and eventually dying -- not for me, no way, no how -- not taking that train until I'm used up, worn out, and ready for a long nap. _________________

"Do you look like a teenager?"
It's been a while for that. But I sure remember when I got out of the Navy and went to university. I was 29, and most people thought I was just another fresh-cheeked 18-year-old freshman. |

Not in that photograph. But photographs can distort how people look. You look very nice, whatever age it might say on your driver's license. |

| I'm 30 and it's almost to the point where I've started to wonder if I should strap on a sword and start yelling "There can be only one!" to the other adults that look like they just graduated high school. |

I'm 61, and I once had a 35 year old say I looked his age when I was 50 and recently a student who is 47 thought I was his age.
Women 10-15 years younger are flabbergasted when I give my age, as they are generally showing their age much more than I, and I sometimes have to show my ID so they don't think I'm lying.
People are generally off by at least 10 years, except when I've had a rough week in which case I look my age, but just barely. |
