LUCKY Baby!

At least, now she's more likely to find someone who will LOVE her.

It's probably not that the mother didn't love her. She was probably very scared. Not that that excuses what she did in any way...

some may say what she did was a good thing.. it is arguable.. she could have well even learnt who it was that lived there before dropping it off knowing that they are responsible enugh to take care of it and even bring it to the necessary people if they didnt want it.. i mean its a lot better than giving the kid a poverty life or something..

Considering how many babies are still found dumped in trashbins or put in bags to suffocate, this woman did something much better. Probably a difficult decision to make--- but she cleaned the baby, put the baby somewhere where it would be found rather quickly, and even took the time to write a note. This woman might just not have had the means to support this baby, or something like that.

Yeah sure sounds like she was genuinely scared and knew that she couldn't care for the baby. Probably a teenager but at least if she was going to abandon the baby, she did not do it in a horrific way. Not that it makes it right either because if she didn't want the baby she should have asked an authority figure for help as far as putting the child up for adoption goes!

My sister-in-law's grandfather was left on a doorstep. They've got no idea of what their heritage is!

What makes you think that it was the mother who abandoned the child? It could have been the mother's mother, father, sister, brother, husband, boyfriend, or pimp...

It breaks my heart to hear people would do this to something so innocent and vulnerable.

The people that left her don't deserve her, and hopefully she will find a fal=mily that will giver her the love she deserves.

there could be many reasons why the mother left the kid there.
fear, didn't want the kid or felt she couldn't care for it, some mental illness factor even (have no clue of the reason).

it would have been better if she left the kid at the hospital, but it is great to see the kid is in good health.

I hope the kid has a happy life and i hope the mother seeks medical help.

Yeah, i thought about it, and maybe the mother could'nt care for her. I am glad she left the baby with a warm rug, so she obviously cared for its welfare.

She probably thought the hospital would land her in trouble.

They have safe haven laws where you can leave an infant at a hospital or police station, no questions asked.

Not sure why she left the child here though.

REALLY?... that's crazy, I've never heard of such a thing.. that means a mother can just leave a baby in a hospital and walk away and no one can bother her?.. Confused i think i just entered the twilight zone..
