I like the outdoors when the weather is not too hot or cold and the scenery is green and peaceful. Otherwise, I prefer the isolation from noise of the indoors.

What about you?

I like the outdoors at night time. indoors is ok, depending on the decor Wink

My idea of outside is the space between the front door and my car.

Inside somewhere, to me, seems unreal and like its weighing down on me. I feel free outside but only when the temperature is nice and I am not being forced outside.

I love mother nature and the outdoors, but being indoors provides a sense of protection for me. So I would say I like them both the same.

Outdoors when the weather is nice, and also when it is windy and rainy, I dont like the cold though. Snow is awesome if I am wrapped up.

I find that outdoor = instant sanity for me. It kind of restores something in me. Especially sitting by a river or waterfall.

I do like fun indoor environments though.

I like it outdoors if the temperature is moderate. But I voted indoors because I usually go inside (and into the basement) to recover from my day.

also, I found that I absolutely *have* to live by the coast. looking at the water has a great calming effect on me. if I don't have the sea/ocean within short walking distance I feel trapped.

I love being outdoors except when the weather is too hot! I love going for walks in parks, botanical gardens, the mountains, or to the ocean. I feel I am happiest outside!

I like the outdoors better...as long as I can retreat to the indoors if I need to. Wink

I like both in their own way, though I still spend most of my time indoors.

I like indoors better, although not all the time. It just seems like here in Michigan the weather is always too extreme to be outdoors very much. I love a nice warm sunny day, around 80 degrees or so. Other than that I seem to be either too cold or too hot. People are always asking me why I don't go outside more but they obviously aren't as sensitive as I am. Plus indoors I feel safe and protected.

I'm usually to be found indoors, but I suspect that's only because I feel safer and physically more comfortable there, rather than particularly liking it for its own sake. My house is warm in winter and cool in summer, and keeps me safe from unwanted approaches from other people. I've got all my stuff around me, nobody can take it away as long as I keep the doors locked.

On the other hand, I love to get out into the fields, to see the natural beauty of it all and to feel the weather. It'd be a sad day if I ever let go of that side of my nature.
