While watching any show/movie, you ever feel like turning off the TV in disgust when watching any scene of anything featuring dialogue with so much expression/enunciation, while thinking to yourself "Even NT's in real life don't talk/act like that"

I get moments like that alot while watching shows like Seinfeld, House, CSI, just about anything. Its probably intended because there is a greater importance in communicating the thoughts of characters to the viewer, but still...

Quite frequently. I get offended at pretentious, stilted dialogue that is just plain silly. I like "House", and even that is soap-operaish !! So much of TV is just over-done, and I sometimes ask myself if there's 12 year-olds writing this stuff !!
