Dont think I'm kidding; I'm quite serious. My ambition is global domination. Not my ultimate ambition, of course, merely a necessary step towards fulfilling that ultimate ambition.
Besides which, I'm sick of warlords, criminal dictators, religious politics, petty warlets and gross over population. Global domination is not so farfetched as you may think - not since the microchip, at least.

Still, I wonder, what are your ambitions? No jokes, please, but serious goals. Are they to do with anything in your life, with autism, with the world?

Have fun with that.

Caring for and helping those I love in the ways I can, and making it to my end without killing anyone.

To build my own house in the Northern Territory (preferably with its own solar power source and its own water source) and have an orchard (mangoes, melons) and animals such as pigs and chickens and goats (not to eat, but for eggs/milk/just the hell of it). Basically to be as self sufficient as possible. Then I would make AWESOME art which would be exhibited internationally. Mainly sculpture and video works.

Well Ishmael you know already that like you I want to live forever but probably have a different idea of how.

I haz and pwnz the chips, can turn them off or access them remotely; world domination is not a priority since I simply made and use a more useful map of the world.

I was going to build a castle but it would be taxable so I will build something else that is not.

edit:
@animal: Your idea can work because I know someone who did that and I might also.

I visited the ruins of a Spanish castle in far North Queensland once... the guy migrated from Spain in the 1920s and built the whole thing by hand. You should totally build a castle.

I will, it just won't look like a castle. Cool

I don't have an ambition, and never have. I wouldn't trust myself with global domination, I'd probably end up as an Evil Overlord.

Laughing
Global/Solar/Galactic Domination?
That's exactly what I wanna do! I guess I want to out of some need for control of my surroundings.
Plus, why worry about social clumsiness when your the LORD OF THE FRIGGIN' UNIVERSE?

well I'm off to uni next year to read Philosophy so my career ambition is to do something in that... to be more specific, currently, my career ambition is to become a legal academic.

Ok, Ish, here are two of mine. They are limited, finite, and can be accomplished pretty quickly.

1.) Going to meet with a psych researcher today and consult about writing a book about AS. Because she suggested it, seems like a good idea, I've got a good deal of time on my hands, and if I don't write it, who will? Almost seems like duty rather than ambition though.

2.) Meeting a guy tomorrow to get the CD so that I can start up with yet another local music outfit. They play primarily soul and R & B, which are not my primary genres, but I'm going crazy not being onstage, so will do what it takes to make it work. They're established, well known, and have the personnel and equipment to do it, so . . . I'm there.

Cool

Does the ambition not count if it's small?

I'm really just focusing on raising my daughter and finishing college.... it's a far cry from world domination, but it seems simply impossible right now...

Getting rich and famous. Make a popular cartoon and buy a mansion in the USA. Smile
Sadly my ambition isn't likely going to happen. Razz

I have 0% ambition to do anything. That way, when I don't accomplish anything I'm not dissappointed.
