I had a quick look at Gaultier's collection for this year, and it's looking pretty classy, and just the kind of thing that the anti christ would wear. I vote Vivi gets the job.

Thank you for pulling this out of the ashes IgorStop.

I was thinking the Anti-Christ would wear something Matrixy
A trench coat and something...

I got this idea from Johnny the Homicidal Maniac!

That makes it even more confusing.

Here is what I think.
I will stand by what I think is goodness.
Whoever, or whatever spirits (again assuming existence) stand for goodness I will agree with.

oh? I thought you were being satirical in your interest in this subject. Basically, as a couple of other posters have said, god wouldn't ask in the first place, it would be a spirit posing as god, and secondly, you would deal with the offer as you would any other temptation. Ultimately all satan's offers (however he disguises them) reduce down to the one thing - bow down and worship him.

You are right, I was satirical.
That doesn't mean that I am completely one sided.
I don't know enough about religion to know anything about it. I can read many books sum up all the quotations from the book, but I still will know nothing about religion untill a religious "spirit" speaks to me.
At that point I will assume its a play (holographic projections) at which point I will play along.
After a while I will assume its a halucination.
When all possible outcomes have been defeated, then I will hypothesise that this is a "spirit" in the historical sense.

I stand by my conscious no matter what happens.

If the Anti-Christ is wearing a black trench-coat, what will Christ wear?

Fine. Sounds like a good approach to me. I always feel that I was 'drafted' into faith, (as opposed to a volunteer).

As to the 'what would jesus wear question'.

He would go naked.

Ah because when Christ returns would be born naked, or by choice?
Is there a possibility Jesus would switch genders?

absolutely. There's some references to this in the Nag Hammadi. It's rather obscure small stuff in that text, but I vaguely remember it saying something like: 'when I first came, in my male form'....and it then goes on to imply that the second coming would be in a female form.

wellll you didn't mention the context/occasion being a 'second coming', so I was just speculating. Nudity is after all the most innocent state! Now please don't get all carried away about naked female messiahs!

Why would Jesus change genders and come back naked?

This to Me makes no sense to Me. Confused

Why would he come back as a male? He's already done that.

The naked thing is a quasi-joke, cos Mithrandir obviously likes his jokes.

Ahem, can we get back to the interesting stuff about what the female anti-christ would wear?

J.P. Gaultier is obviously class, but perhaps she should mix and match with Vivian Westwood and get even kinkier with House of Harlot and Murray and Verne? This would satisfy Mithrandir's thing about blackness, which would have to be part of the wardrobe, let's face it.

I like my leather jacket Laughing

These are my two favorite picks:

There are a couple of others but I don't know if they are aloud.
Kind of risque.

This is the dumbest poll I've ever seen. It's like one of those stupid "Can God create a rock so big he can't lift it?" questions. It's a trap designed to create a false dilemma for believers.

Is it? I would infer its a harmless and intelligent question, raising the fundamental issue of faith's origin, and in a very concise and engaging way too.
