Cain and Abel married their sisters. Since Eve had sons and daughters. If they where the only people on Earth they would have to married their sisters in the end.

Kicking and hitting her child. Too bad William wasn't taken away from his family. Ah, the uneducatedness of it all.
I think William was punished with Autism because his mother sneezed once while she was pregnant with him and nobody said "Bless you". (This was sarcasm in case it was missed.)
I feel sorry for his family that they didn't know better. It angers me that a culture produces such families. I feel sorry for William to have had to bear the pain of his family's ignorance.

It's not too rare. I don't know how accurate the current statistics are (I've heard the HFA percentage is higher than it's given credit) but about 1/4 of kids with Autistic Disorder will eventually be labeled as "high-functioning".
