(I Dunno If this is supposed 2 go in the "Love and Dating" section; if not, I'm srry, please move it to the correct section)

There was a classmate who seemed to have a crush on me (alot of my NT friends said "ask her out man!", "go for it!", "she REALLY likes you" etc. I was going to ask her if she liked me (we usually talked on Facebook, I'm shy/an Aspie in school) but before I could she asked me if I liked her. Taking my friend's advice (who has lots of experience with dating) I told her "yes, but I didn't wanna ruin our friendship." She said it was fine, but she didn't like me in that way and just wanted to be friends. I was relived she wasn't mad (as she claimed). But we don't talk now, nor chat on Facebook, and a few days ago she gave me a glare with a mischevious smile. My NT friend that's really bad and means she's mad, and today she angrily told me to move my chair out of her way (she used to say "excuse me" etc).

EDIT: She told me she had a boyfriend. Forgot 2 mentioned that, sorry.

Why would she be mad? I asked some NT friends but they don't know. Also, any advice on what to do would be appreciated.

She might actually like you. NT's do this sort of stupid stuff with people they like. It's some sort of competitive game. She's telling you move your chair and you are supposed to respond in some way that shows you won't let her walk all over you but at the same time, not be totally horrible to her.

Eventually if you pass all her silly tests she'll take back her statement that she didn't like you in that way and come up with some excuse for why she said it. It's all very complicated and utterly ridiculous. I'm sorry I can't give much more insight, perhaps a NT friend could?

Because she wants to go out with you, duh. She doesn't like being rejected.

the 'don't ruin our friendship' is interpreted by many as a 'brush off', which is a rejection. It tells them you have no romantic attraction to them. Hardly anyone takes romantic rejection well.

If this can somehow be saved, you might try...but I've often run into the 'if you don't get what I'm saying right now...you've blown it. Don't apologize to me later". There's very much of a 'this is the moment, this is the test. there are no repeat opportunities' thing to it.

Just remember, don't say it unless you are trying to convey that to a woman. Hope it all works out.

I heard that girls like to play games. I don't think you did anything wrong. Maybe next time just say "Oh, I think you are nice." Don't say anything about the friend stuff. Also maybe she doesn't like her boyfriend much. Give her a note maybe "I like you, if I did something to upset you I am sorry." Then maybe she will talk to you again?
