Pezar, there's some hope. I live in a suburb, the schools here cater to the average student, although some are gifted, ie; reading college level material in the third grade.
There aren't any charter schools in this suburb, which is a shame because I think gifted kids would benefit from them.
The nearby city does have charter schools, focusing on specific subjects, maths and sciences, or arts. Charter schools are a good alternative for gifted students. Maybe with more of these types of schools, the needs of gifted students can be met and their full potential can be realized? |
