that a lot of precious time & energy obviously went into this site. I'm new here, but obliquely old in a way Funny huh? Anyway, I like the interface, it's really friendly, and it just has this polished feel to it although I know you guys are refining it further. Thanks for pointing me over...
Anyhoo, here goes the first post from me (aka techno). |

| Additionally, I also like the names of descriptions for the forums... those are a lot of fun! |

Thanks! I'm glad you like the interface; I like it as well. Dan has been working hard on coding these custom themes for phpnuke. He actually made another theme that you can look at by changing your theme preferences. If you have anything you could add to our article section (articles you would write), we would be gracious if you would submit them! (my email is alex@wrongplanet.net). Hopefully we will see more of you in the time to come!

Yeah... let it be known I am most certainly interested in seeing how this site grows (that logo with the alien sitting on the "e" is a hoot too, haha... so cute) and although I am not an adept essay writer -- oh yeah, GOOD articles so far -- if I have something to say I will not hesitate to say it
I tried the Sunset theme, that was nice too. Only thing I noticed was custom avatars seem to be broken (for now). |

We are upgrading to phpnuke 7.2 which will fix a lot of things including the avatar bug. I drew the alien, so thanks about that part, and look at the alien on the 404 page we have: http://wrongplanet.net/brokenlink!
Dan modded the alien to make that image |

| Okay, the avatar bug should be fixed. You'll need to edit your profile/avatar for the fix to take effect. |

Dan, I tried to upload a custom avatar... and it gave me the following error:

Oh, but my esoteric knowledge tells me that the O'reilly "Learning REALbasic" book has an 18th century engraving of a dog on the cover! |
