Why does it feel like i'm literally going crazy sometimes...like i have no brain in which i control. I know it may have something to do with the thoughts of the past or the fear that while I'm smart I can so easily forget to do things and take care of myself....but is that normal to be a somewhat sane person with aspergers that feels like he's going crazy?

Is it possible your going-crazy feeling is a panic attack? I've gotten them in the past, and at times felt as if I were "disconnected from myself". According to my then-doctor, that's actually a hallmark symptom (or one of them) of a panic attack. And yes, "going crazy" is definitely another. Do you have a Pdoc? Or just a PCP...could you ask about this?

canceling out thoughts leads to panic attacks, you must except all thoughts that you think and not suppress any thoughts....

also the thought of needing to be in control leads to crazyness (not being in control). This is the trick hypnotists use on you, secretly make you think you need to be in control will lead to you losing control and obeying his every command....

Also you NEED to go crazy once in a while, this is a basic human need like food, air, water.... If you suppress going crazy for to long the crazyness will come out wether you like it or not (it's like you can`t go on forever without taking a s**t, it will come out at some point :P)

Anywayz, it's the brain that controls you, it's not you that controls the brain, but you ARE the brain...

Apparently that's not true, that's an anxiety attack, not a panic attack. I thought that the extreme anxiety coming on really intensely was a panic attack, but my psychiatrist says that a panic attack is physical symptoms more than mental ones, like how people think they're having heart attacks when they're having panic attacks, because they have chest pain and trouble breathing. I'm not totally sure how to differentiate, because of course anxiety raises heart rate and blood pressure and stuff anyways, so there are always some physical symptoms anyways. And for that matter, in someone with cardiac problems, a jump in heart rate and blood pressure could cause a heart attack. But she doesn't think that an actual panic attack should feel like it's an emotional thing.. it'd feel physical. But she's very into the whole integrated mental and physical stuff.
Of course, based on that, I told her I didn't have actual panic attacks.. But I've been taking an EMT class, and it involves a lot of role play practice.. which of course is the whole make-pretend thing that aspies are so bad at, so I tend to get really really nervous during that stuff, and apparently I looked so bad that my teacher thought I was actually sick. Panic is generally considered a load of crap in the EMS world, so when an experienced paramedic looks at someone having less-than-a-panic-attack and thinks there's a serious problem... it's probably actually more.

Heh.. hope that that helped in some way.. or at least made some slight amount of sense..

then it seems to me that you have serotonin shortage in your brain, there is medication for this... but you won`t be able to have orgasms if you take this medicin. which kinda sucks

Sometimes when I have a lot of thoughts in my head, and they all start screaming out to me at once, I feel like I'm going crazy. I feel like I'm going to have a mental breakdown...it goes away, but at that moment, it's kinda scary to think that I could just LOSE it.

That is so weird...my Pdoc told me at the time that this would describe a panic attack. Anxiety is/was inherent in the equation...and functioned the same and had the same treatment. I guess it really depends upon the doc...but whether one, the other or both, the treatment might be very similar and should be addressed by the OP, I feel...because...why suffer? :( These are scary. Hoping this gets better for you, OP.

wow. lots to think about there.

i'm in the beginning stages of a wave of crazyiness. just trying to go with the flow and not fight it. it'll work itself out eventually. always an adventure where i'll end up when it finishes its course.

I`ve experienced this to the point that I passed out, doctor says it's skitzophrenia but pretty much everyone has a little skitzophrenia it's wether or not it's a problem that defines you as being skitzophrenic, so the doctor let me decide wether or not I thought that it was a problem and I choose that it wasn`t. And I haven`t experienced this for about two years now..
