So here's an interesting question. Does anyone know of a personal digital camera (similar to a Kodak Easyshare and what not) that has a rechargeable lithium ion battery built into it rather than having it run on AA's? _________________ OH GOODIE! - Three Chords in Three Panels

I would just buy rechargeable AA's, OP. You can get the batteries and the charger for a few bucks, then be unlimited in your camera choice. _________________ Every time you think you've made it idiot proof, someone comes along and invents a better idiot.

Alright you don't have to be jerks, I was just curious about the possibility. _________________ OH GOODIE! - Three Chords in Three Panels

I use a camera that uses 4xAA batteries. I just look for 2000mAh or higher as smaller numbers don't last as long. Although I notice rechargeable batteries are 1.2volt and rarely 1.5v. I have 8xAA rechargeable batteries at about 2650mAh, I am sure it's possible to get 2700 and above.
I now avoid devices that use AAA batteries as the last camera I used went through them quickly, but had some luck with some AAA batteries at 1000mAh (highest I've seen) |

Kodak EasyShare? Those are a piece of crap, worst camera I've used, looks nice but EATS batteries like candy, can't recommend them.

Seconded, and unless you are very very very organized, it sucks to not be able to buy a pair almost anywhere (as with AA).
if you still want a li-on, I think the the Canon Elf uses those.
I use a panasonic® Lumix®, uses 2xAA, and use Eneloop® batteries (low self-discharge). I just recorded yesterday an hour of video, took some photos in the past week, and the batteries still are happy at 1/2 the energy. _________________ One of God's own prototypes.
