Hiya! I'm just wondering, who is your favorite teacher, and who is your least favorite? what was the worst or best experience you had witgh them?
My favorite teacher from this year, was called Mrs.R she was the sweetest english teacher in the world. My best experience was, being in the writing club. we had sooo much fun, and she helped us get a book published!
My worst teacher was Mrs. Liuc. she is the meanest most grumpy teacher on earth! one time i was in pE and she was a second-hand pe teacher, so she was there. she kept yelling at me, and I was really in pain, because of personal problems, and she just made me cry. I finally sat down, and she screamed at me to get back up. then she called the principal in to talk to me! it was really upsetting. I just couldn't talk to her the rest of the year, i was so upset! _________________

BEST: This one teacher I had for 3rd and 4th grade. (It was a looping class.)
WORST: My 1st grade teacher, who made us do too much phonics work. |

| Best teacher: Mr. Evans. he was my 9th grade english teacher. He was really interested in humanities and showed great enthusiasm about the subjects. He taught with much zeal and vigour. He also has a film society where we watch classic movies during lunch every day. We have a projector so its really cool. He is also very kind. Sadly, though, there aren't many teachers like him. |

| My favourite teachers tend to be those who left me alone. I loathed teachers who would attempt to counsel me about my apparent behavioural deficiencies, and as I needed no academic assistance I preferred teachers who would let me do my work without interference. |

Best teacher: Mr. Golembeski - Western Lit, doing homework for him was a pain since he wouldn't take it unless it was grammaticly perfect, and he would only give you vauge clues as to what needed fixing, but of all the english teachers I had he was the most interesting.
Worst teacher: Mr Hoppe - Eight grade social sciences. I had enough problems with being bullied in junior high school, but he only made things worse when he would join in during class and encourage the other students to do so also.
Then there were those teachers I had that would try to connect with me on a deep emotional level. They made me very uncomfortable. When I was in second grade I was going through a head banging phase and when ever I would start up. I would get dragged off someplace to cool off, usually one of the storage rooms. Then after a while my teacher would come down and have a little talk with me and would end it by giving me a giant bear hug, I would be more frazzled after that than what caused me to be sent out of class in the first place.
In sixth grade I had another one of those teachers who made me very uncomfy by trying to connect with me on a deep emotional level. She would often be hovering over my shoulder in class telling me very deep-seated, emotionally encouraging things. The only thing I wanted was to be left alone. |

Best teacher- Mr Swindlehurst my design technology teacher for the past 2 years. he was funny, informative and friendly- he treated us more like equals and even swore in front of us. a slightly unorthadox approach but must have worked because we ended up ahead of most of the year!
worst teacher- oooh too many candidates! mr tams (interfering in my art exam) mr hardy (for being a generally bad teacher) miss freeth (for having favourites) miss bolton (for being so stupid and over-enthusiastic) I could go on.... _________________ ciamar a tha thu

Best Teacher: Miss Dawson, my Grade one teacher. She just gave me a book and let me do my own thing. She knew I knew the Grade one curriculum already and she didn't force me to deal with the other kids in my class.
Worst Teacher: Ms. Haslam. She was my Grade eight homeroom and IT teacher. She was on exchange from Australia (nothing against Aussies here. I love you guys!). She had no clue as to how to keep discipline in the class. It was always noisy and people were always throwing stuff and I just couldn't handle it. I think that was probably the year I got in the most trouble at school. _________________ Without the weird people, how could anyone define normal? |

My best teacher this year was Ms B. (she also had AS, which was pretty cool). Awesome teacher and an amazing person to talk to!
My worst teacher this year was my gym teacher. He couldn't understand why I was so clumsy and would always make fun of me to the point where I would run away crying. Besides calling me names, he ruined my confidence to ever play any school sports again. |

I had a good teacher during my sophomore year of high school. To this day we are close firends. She has helped me to work on my social quirks.Eventhough she was my study skills teacher and case manager I felt more of her as a mentor and friend. She took me to a possible program(Post Secondary program which did not fit my needs). She also was close to my mother . On a side note a few years before I met her she had a student in my mother's dance class. My mother teaches at a local community college. So when I first met her she could not recognize the name . We weretalking about my PE courses at the college when it came up that she finally recognized the name. Now we keep in close contact via e-mail. I see her on occasion. She used to teach the Special Day Class at my former high school.
Yet another person who I have close contact is the teacher whom I TA for in the Special Day Class. She has also become a close friend too.
And my Resoruce English Teacher knew my mother because she had done some choreography for a Shakespear Play he was directing.
My Job Coach also took classes from my mother years ago. Another English teacher and I keep in contact as well.
Did any of your former teacher's become your firends? I wonder how the teachers decide what students to keep the contact with. It can be a hard decision. |

My favourite teacher of all time would be the English teacher I had in both 3rd and 4th form at Secondary School. He would be the sharpest person I have met to this point - including university lecturers, etc. He too has AS.
Worst teacher: 5th form Maths - he managed to perpetually confuse me - instructed me to not turn up for the final-exam. The qualifications authority liaison teacher [a genuinely caring person, and a present colleague] called me at home, 20 mins into the exam and said that I should sit it anyway. She sent another teacher to pick me up! You were allowed to enter the exam up to 30mins after commencement! I failed the exam by 2% - passing mark 50% - I received 48%.
The Maths teacher received a forceful word from many corners on that one, as I understand it! |

Best Teacher, Miss Steele, English. Knows about AS, and knows it's there in me, but chooses to ignore it, and bring it out only in the homework dept.
Worst, P.E. Said I was stupid, yadah yadah yadah. Why am I not suprised.
Hardest, Mrs Tap, Co-ordinator of Teaching and learning. Go to my topic in Getting to know... topic, Um hi? It's the really long post in green. _________________ If a man does not keep pace with his companions, perhaps it is because he hears a different drummer. Best teacher: A tie between 8th Grade teachers Mrs. Bazar, Mrs. Mcinturff, and Mrs. Davis, who were my Algebra 1, 8th Honors English, and 8th Social Studies. All three of them were absolutely hilarious and would not refrain from telling jokes in class. Plus, the understood who i was and did their best to help me out in the unstable school environment.
Worst: I will not speak her name, since i have a Voldemort-complex with her, so much that i can't speak her name without negative things happening. Anyways, she was a former special education teacher, and when she found out about me, she did her best to exploit my disability by, to put it in a nutshell, poking me with a stick (in a figurative sense) and saying "See? i told you he was bad!" when i blew up. Luckily, my parents took me to another class when She-Who-Must-Not-Be-Named told my parens a number of bad things at the IEP meeting, including the supposed fact that it was my parent's fault for how i turned out. I assured you, if i had been there she would have not survived another day. Slimy b****. _________________ Here we are, goin' far,

Favorite Teacher; Mr. Tomko, my sunday school teacher. He has some ghost like AS and we LOVE to talk to each other about what we have been studying. I still talk to him on a regular baises and I consider him to be a friend. I have had the blessing of many, many good teachers throughout my HS career.
In elementary school and in MS I had a 2nd grade teacher that later transfered to the MS and became a resource teacher in my 6th grade. She belittled me all the time and generally made my life a living hell. It is to much for me to explain fully. _________________ All your bass are belong to us. |

I have had lots of good teachers, and lots of bad ones, too
good-Mrs Good(Kindergarten) She was pretty much the perfect kindergarten teacher...I really can't think of anything to describe her better, LOL!, Miss Tilney(1st and 2nd Grade)she was a supplemental teacher, took each member of the first and second grades out in groups to learn about things that they were interested in. When I think back on those two years, It was wonderful! Miss Dimerio(4th Grade) She was so dear and sweet and kind, I can't see how anyone could help but love her! Mrs Hurtgam(6th Grade)Really encouraged me in reading and writing, helped me a lot, Mr Bradley(7th and 8th grade science)actually had control of the kids in his class, but was also a lot of fun...everybody loved him, Mrs Chambers(half of my 10th Grade math)The only person who ever managed to make me like math.
bad-well, I'll just name the one worst, because she was amazingly bad. Miss Martin, 10th Grade history. Oh boy...it's like she never grew up! She would literally throw a fit and sit in the corner crying if someone forgot their homework. She treated us like little kids, we colored pictures and acted out "plays" and played games....but if someone called them games they had to sit in the corner...they were supposed to be called "educational activities" Nobody learned anything in that class....it's a wonder she was actually employed. Oh, and one last thing...she couldn't stop mentioning that she was on the US olympic team one year(as a backup, she never actually participated) for something...I think maybe some track-related thing. Yeah, she was weird |
