I exercise AT LEAST 1 or 2 hours per day, I usually practice interval per second day, otherwise it's just running, push-ups and sit ups.

I exercise for an hour, four days a week. Just weights, no cardio. I'm in great shape. Will throw in tabata/farklek type stuff this winter break to get my mile time back down close to 5:00 though. Will probably end up eating 3,500 kcal just to maintain my weight.

Not as much as I want to.

Why not?

Time is a precious resource and one of which I DON'T have.

At least two hours. I'm a dustman and I do a lot of window shopping.

About an hour. I walk the greyhounds out to the mailbox and back twice a day.

It's a kilometer away and down the hill.

Average out over a year it would probably be 2 hours a day. Right now I only go to the gym 4-5 times a week but during the summer I do a lot of biking and other sports and during winter a lot of skiing. Can't wait to go skiing Very Happy

Workday

Morning:
45 minutes of lap swimming before work
or
30 minutes of weight lifting before work
or
30 minute run

Lunch:
30 minute run
or
just a protein lunch if I feel cooked

Evening:
60 minute run if dark or cold (winter)
30 mile bike ride (~80 minutes) if daylight and/or warm (summer).

Weekends

60-80 mile bike ride (3-3.5 hours) followed by a 10 mile run (60-70 minutes)
or
60-80 mile bike ride followed by a mountain climb
or
swim practice with a coach at the pool followed by a run

Every here and there I throw in a really long bike ride (>100 miles) or a really long run (over 1/2 marathon). That hurts.

It varies from day to day. Usually I get at least half an hour from riding my bike to and from campus. If I walk it's about an hour. Then I walk all over the place on campus, so what I get in a day can greatly vary. Sometimes it's just a short distance between the bike racks and my class, some other days I'm running around trying to set up labs (I wore a pedometer on one of these days, I walked some 12 miles just going back and forth between labs).

I'm on the cross country and track teams at my university. I run the 6k in cross country and the 10k in track. I'm kind of crazy, but I like to run lol. Anyways, while in season, I run about 40 miles (or about 240 kilometers) per week, about an hour and a half per day. We also lift three times per week for about an hour and a half per session. It's a lot of time, but I think it's awesome. Not only does it help me with keeping in shape, it also helps me to have a social group and have something to work towards besides school. It's a nice study break. Plus, if I need help with school, the cross country and track team usually are smart cookies. It's a lot of fun, and it's an individual and a team sport built into one. My theory is that it's almost the perfect physical sport for us aspies.
