I am obsessed with analyzing ppl's motives; in particular just what drives NT-s to judge aspies.

Oh yep, I did as a teenager. There was this guy in my home town, a friend of my sisters, about six years older than I was at the time. Half German Jewish and half Mescalero Apache. Long dark hair and a beard in a town where crewcuts and cowboy boots were the norm. I thought he was the most exotic, handsome, witty, intelligent, well read, talented, clever.... Wink There was a year there when he was the center of the universe. No sexual attraction to it whatsoever, so it wasn't that. It was just an obsession.

This was a year or two after my obsession with Cat Stevens. Come to think of it, they resembled each other, a bit. Laughing

I've been obsessed with people since I was a teenager. It's like...they're a complete mystery to me. Many of the things they do and say make so little sense, you know what I mean? It's kind of odd, that the characters in my novels and telenovelas seem much better to me. Probably cause one knows more or less what they're going to do. Not to mention that when they're alone, and stuff, they say what they're thinking sometimes.

I get obsessed with people too. I thought I was the only one! Usually a neighbour or teacher or sometimes actor. Not like a crush. Just really, really liking them.

People in general, or a specific person?

I'm a bit obsessive about people in that I'm always trying to figure out what makes them tick, why they behave the way they do, what sort of interactions go on in a social situation. I've read books about adolescents making friends and the mechanics behind it, just because I'm curious about how these things work. Humans can be so interesting. o_o

As for specific people...meh, I can get a bit "obsessive" over a close friend, where I feel depressed if I don't get to see them for a few days, or spend time trying to learn more about them by looking through their facebook or posts or whatever. I try not to let this show, though, because I'll bet they'd find it weird or creepy how clingy I can be. >> I'm just...secretly clingy. Like a stalker. Shocked

Last year when i was in public school, I would sit at a lunch table with my HFA friend who never speaks during lunch and just observed people. It's quiet fun to do because I like learning how things tick.

I was obssessed with how my brother could have so many friends and can socialize so much even though we both didn't own any video games (i think my parents didn't get video games cause i had bad eyesight from an early age and i would become addicted so easily). Honestly, in high school all my friends i hung out with talked about video games and computer games such as WOW. I would just be there quietly and occasionally talk. In grade 12 i eventually went to my friends house to play Halo during lunch hour everyday. I'm in 2nd yr university now.
