Those of you who weren't only children, how did friends of your siblings treat you?

I have 3 siblings, two brothers one sister.

The boys, their friends were mostly a$$holes. There were a few that weren't but for the most part there was great strife when friends of either brother were around. One bro is very close in age to me while the other is 9 years younger. I've noticed the friends of the close-in-age brother were worse than the younger ones. The best friend of the close-in-age brother is an ass who never liked me and has never ever been civil.

My sister is almost 4 years younger. Her friends didn't really interact with me much, except for one, and that one is still my friend--I 'inherited' her after my sister moved across the country because her husband got a really sweet job.

I think I was mostly ignored by my brother's friends, though they all crushed on my best friend (I somehow managed to get "adopted" by one of the popular girls my age for most of my school years - she then ditched me in high school but that's unrelated to the topic).

Nowadays, my brother and I should logically be closer friends than we are because we have a lot of similar interests and we have a few mutual friends and friends of friends. It's a complicated little circle but sadly it doesn't compute to he and I hanging out even though I'd like to.

I will note that my brother has always been a bit of a geek, with mostly geeky friends, so they weren't the type to bully or anything like that.

Edit: Hey I just noticed I'm a Toucan! Woop!

The only interests I have in common with either of my brothers is Warcraft and the associated Custom games.

and I have NOTHING in common with my sister.

My sister's friends thought that I was a very strange kid, for a girl.

A few of my step sister's friends like me, the rest think that I am odd and say that they do not know how to take me because I am "too quiet".

I have a brother and sister both younger than me. Their friends think I'm alright especially my brother's best friend who's always following me and clinging on to my arm and stuff and being generally annoying. I usually just ignore my siblings' friends.

One of my sisters and I have a ton of mutual friends. A ton - like maybe 10 or 15 - and most of them are wonderful. I sort of gradually got absorbed into the group after a while. I love that I have a good relationship with mi hermana. XD

The other sister is a bit too young for us to have an immense amount of buddies in common. But we are video-game buddies - she's the only other person i know that plays fire emblem games so... We're pretty obsessed. xP
As far as her friends go, she has a few close friends. Lots of different personalties there, but the ones I've met like me and she told me that one of them even admires me as a role model. That made me feel nice. (:

All of us are pretty geeky so... we get along well. Plus we all have laid back personalities. Its pretty awesome that both of my best friends live with me. I love them. (:

But it would be cool to have a brother. Neutral There's a lot of estrogen in my house. Neutral

Lol, sounds like me. I used to be too shy and too afraid of hanging out with my sisters and their friends, like I was tagging along, to the point that I wouldn't even want to hang around my cousins and my sisters cause I felt like I was imposing myself, but I just put it away and hang out with them when I can, and for the most part they seem to like me, while at the same time most of the people I know I think at least used to wonder why I was so quiet, but I'm not too quiet anymore and usually talk more and more loudly around them.
Anyway, my brother has a friend, though, who I used to hang out with alot and despite my differences from him, me being the wierdest child alive and him being the typical mainstream popular boy, we got along pretty well and were pretty much friends. But now I'm usually too scared to say a word around him, while my two outgoing sisters aren't in the least.

i don't really like it when my sibling's friends come over.
but i guess when my little sister's friend come over, its not too bad because they are still young.
but a few weeks ago, my brother's friends came over (group of teenagers) and i just felt awkward around them.
two of them always used a loud, obnoxious fake voice when they said hi to me ... and makes me feel more awkward.
i suppose i'll make sure i'm not home next time they come over
but generally my brother and i get along due to some similar interests
