Hello - I noticed moments ago that when I registered, the default to receiving an e-mail when someone sends me a p.m. is not checked, so I had to click the icon.
Just wondering if there is no cutoff? So if someone had not logged in for say, a year, and someone sent them a p.m., they would not be notified by e-mail?
Thanks. |

I cannot answer for sure, but I would assume so. When I originally joined, I checked the option to send an email whenever a topic I responded to had a new reply. I unchecked that option well over a year ago, but I still get the occasional email from some old topic that got revived.
That being said, just because they get a message doesn't mean they'll open it or reply; I have a PM sitting in my outbox that's over two years old. _________________ "Nothing worth having is easy."
