We have had a couple of threads where Western women have been raked over the coals in comparison to Southeast Asian women.
I thought that, in the spirit of fair play, we should give everyone a chance to have a go at Western men.
For example, I know of some women who think that Mexican men are superior to American men because Mexican men are much more passionate, warmer, chivalrous and more likely to treat a woman like a lady (for example, opening doors for them, etc.). In comparison, American men are cold, boring, and selfish.
Okay, I know that Mexico is clearly a part of the West--a better term would be called for, but I can't think of one at the moment.
I think that some women prefer Black men to White men, because they regard Black men as physiologically superior.
(Again, Black Americans are a part of the Western World--but I've heard of white women going to certain countries, or even certain neighborhoods in the US, for sex tours).
For this thread, over-genalizations are fine (of course, we all know that exceptions exist to every sweeping generalization). |

To be fair, those are the views of a few jaded narrow-minded people.
But it wouldnt be fair not to give a shot to the opposite sex in the generalization department =P. I'll add, as a guy, what i've seen in friends.
They all think they are gods gift to women.
They are all Narcisistic, far too self involved.

... is that this one made the mistake of clicking on this thread, expecting to find something funny but only encountering someone encouraging blatant sexism/group-bashing (now new and improved with racial-flavoured overtones!) with an author who isn't even brave enough to take a swing of their own. I hope you don't get someone else in trouble with this.

ok when noone wants than i'll do it: they are mostly either overweight or pumped up like balloons. i don't know what i dislike more.
that is from what i observe physique-wise because i can not get the behavior of men (or women) here at all. |

I am 5 minutes too late!
Western women are entitled to have their foreign bit of fluffy too. Maybe, in pandabears words, a foreigner for some chivalry in the bedroom 
Pattaya is visited by japanese and western women for nigerian 'big.....' men.

I'll take a shot at this one since I think its a slightly incorrect stereotype.
The term is 'latin' men not just 'Mexican' men.
I am the whitest dark blonde latino you'll ever meet but when it comes to social rules your friends are right for the most part. We do tend to be a lot more attentive/warm/chivalrous than the average American male but that's relative to your point of view.
To begin, gender roles and behaviour social rules apply heavily in latin cultures whereas in American culture the woman has become a man with tits (not to offend but this is a literal quote Ive heard from many latinos living in the US and I agree that for the most part this is true).
Hence, an American woman on the receiving end of the smallest socially expected gesture in latin culture (aka the opening of the door for a lady) to her seems like a big act of chivalry. To a latin woman, it is a friendly gesture that is not demanded of the guy but it does show her that he wasn't taught manners by his family... but thats about it.
An American man on the other hand, raised in a culture where woman=man .. there's no need nor social rule to open the door ... the door will be opened by whoever gets to the door first.
And.. well i'll get me head chewed off for saying this but... its one thing to get verbally grilled by an american girl and a whole different thing to be on the receiving end of a latina's emotional outburst. The 2nd one hurts in many different levels.. and places 
on the asian female thing... I'll just say that the one reason why I consider asian girls more attractive than white girls is because they are raised to be feminine (not submissive). Even 2nd or 3rd generation asian american girls are markedly more feminine than their white counterparts so its not just a physical thing its mainly how they act. To date I've only met 3 girls in my life that weren't asian that struck me as being extremely attractive mainly because of their personality. One was american, second was french and the third was irish. |
