I did my very first Rebounding workout tonight, which involved 40 minutes jumping and jogging on a small trampoline. It was unbelievably easy, but ten minutes after I had got off (and just as I was starting to think 'heh, that didn't even raise my heart rate'), all of my muscles started to lock, and I'm now pretty sure that I will be cramped double for the next week.

I always assumed that Rebounding was a very gentle form of exercise, and that trampolines were for people who were convalescing or obese, but now I'm starting to believe the NASA reports which said 'bouncing is 10 times as effective as sprinting'.

Does anyone else here Rebound? If so, does 40 minutes genuinely cause this much pain? What health benefits and/or dangers have you encountered?
