What's your view on him? Are you curious about God and why he never shows himself? Why does he seem to be slow on giving us what we want? Is he slow on giving us what we want? and I thought God gave people what they need instead. _________________ “Everything is perfect in the universe - even your desire to improve it.” |

Are you referring to the god that rained fire and brimstone down upon Sodom and Gommorah, killing adults and children equally?

I do not have one.
| LiberalJustice wrote: | | Are you curious about God ...? |
From as far back as I can remember.
| LiberalJustice wrote: | | Are you curious about ... why he never shows himself? |
I am curious as to why you think/believe/suspect He does not.
| LiberalJustice wrote: | | Why does he seem to be slow on giving us what we want? |
He *seems* that way because of our steroid-driven expectations.

Or he is a complete and utter control freak and a complete bastard. In which case both atheists and religionists are screwed.

There is actually an element of truth there in the sense that questions such as these in this thread stem from our expecting Him to be what/how we want Him to be. Hence, many people cannot distinguish Him from Santa Claus. _________________ I began looking for someone like me when I was five ...
