What's your view on him? Are you curious about God and why he never shows himself? Why does he seem to be slow on giving us what we want? Post your opinion here!

He does give people what they need and want, but he can sometimes be slow. At least in my view.

Spoiler: Maybe your god never shows himself because he doesn't like you, or maybe he isn't real. You decide.

Are you referring to the god that rained fire and brimstone down upon Sodom and Gommorah, killing adults and children equally?

I do not have one.

From as far back as I can remember.

I am curious as to why you think/believe/suspect He does not.

He *seems* that way because of our steroid-driven expectations.

Only one of my above statements is an opinion; the first three are facts.

Or he is a complete and utter control freak and a complete bastard. In which case both atheists and religionists are screwed.

Of course the ultimate question is who created god, answer = Us

There is actually an element of truth there in the sense that questions such as these in this thread stem from our expecting Him to be what/how we want Him to be. Hence, many people cannot distinguish Him from Santa Claus.
