Is there a sound that really bothers you? If so what is it?

I wrote a wordpress.com blog about some of the loud noises that really bothered me.

Anything that's too loud! My mom has these birds that scream at random and for no reason. I have to wear earplugs in order to function at all around them. Going out to a loud bar just isn't form me, either. I don't know how other people can stand it and I would not put myself through this no matter how good the p**** might be.

Birds, especially pidgeons... impromptu singing or whistling or tapping of any limb... dripping taps... and Hollee Gavine's voice.

Loud noises don't bother me a great deal, it is the softer, repetitive noises that drive me insane. People making noises with their mouth (sucking, clicking, grinding) tapping their fingers, humming or whistling, my cats licking themselves, water dripping, etc...I become fixated on the sounds and they become all I know until they cease.
