Tool was already mentioned, but there's a lot in there that rings familiar. It often seems that men on the spectrum from ASDs through ADHD often end up in relationships with very emotionally intense and difficult women, which is a lot of what Tool seems to be about. The lyrics and music are also highly structured and repetitive, with a lot of numerology at play, there is often a very phenomenological bent to the way images and symbols are presented (much like in the literary works of Orwell or Joyce), and the spirituality strikes me as very Einsteinian. And let's not forget that Maynard feels most comfortable singing from the back of the stage, and often rocks back and forth while performing.
I was recently listening to the Sisters of Mercy and hearing a lot of AS as well. Andrew Eldritch definitely has a powerful auditory memory, judging from the lengthy rants in many of the songs, he's known to be impossible to get along with, and if there's such a thing as singing in monotone then he sure does it with gusto. "Vision Thing" seems to be a song about synesthesia or sensory overload, colors and numbers are features much as they are in tool, and Andrew performs in sunglasses and constantly looks to his side between lines of lyrics.
Ian Curtis from Joy Division was epileptic and known for dancing about on stage in a very strange and jerky way. Despite the deep honesty and emotion in his music, he seemed to have been very cold and shut off in his personal life, which is compellingly depicted in the film Control.
Gary Numan is also known to have AS, but I've never been a fan.
I'm pretty sure everyone who writes IDM or breakcore has to be at least a little autistic. Take a look at Richard D. James of Aphex Twin if you're not sure what I mean.
You guys can also check out some of my music online. NTs tend to hate it because they can't keep track of all the different sounds and rhythms, but I've gotten positive reviews from the ASD and ADHD crowd. Heightened auditory processing may be a requirement for enjoying it.
