I was wandering because I was on this other post and EVERYONE said they do not like them. I was wandering if that was a coincidence or if it has to do with AS.

Do you like sweets/candy?

I will eat them, but It's usually only if there is nothing else to eat. I could go my whole life without it so I voted no.

i couldn't really appropriately respond to your poll because it didn't offer an in-between option between yes and no- MAYBE, SOMETIMES but not generally. my teeth are deteriorated and hurt when exposed to sweets. i never have had a sweet tooth but more of a salty/greasy/creamy tooth. with me, a little sweetness goes a long way, as most sweets are WAAAYYYY too sweet for me to handle.

In the past, I ate way too many.

These days, I'm not very fond of them. Horrid things, really, the taste is ridiculously strong.

There are only very few that I can tolerate and not on any habitual basis...Once in a while I have enjoyed a nice twix bar...or a very nice little bite of cheesecake...or a well-made pumpkin pie...

I tend to be more of a salty-crunchy person myself....

i prefer gooey creamy luscious deserts such as chocolate creamcheese pie with a cheery pie filling topping with whipped cream, atop a chocolate graham cracker crust. yum. Smile or butterscotch pudding- yumyum. Very Happy

same here.

some kinds of chocolate and super-sugary sweets for example hurt my teeth.
almost as if it's melting through to a nerve or something. But most likely, the enamel on my teeth is just thin and thus they're sensitive. i also get this with hot and cold foods too

I said no but occasionally I have some.

I choose savoury over sweet.

these days i don't (much), but when i was a kid i would become obsessed with a particular kind of candy or candy flavor & want to eat it all the time. fortunately, my parents didn't think that was a good idea (unlike some parents these days). i still have weird feelings when i contemplate those flavors, though. they're like a religion i've lapsed from.
