do you ever find yourself mad at an inanimate object, a door that wont stay closed, something that keeps falling over, or my favorite:

internet ads that block your view of a webpage and move around when you try to scroll away, or ads that have a "no thanks" option but still take you to their page anyway?

i know there is nothing i can do about them, but it still annoys me.

When I was younger (I don't do it very much anymore) whenever I bumped into something I would blame it on the object and punch it a few times.

When I was younger I tried not to get upset at objects because I thought they had feelings so I tried not to hit them when I got mad at them, that was only till I was 12 though.

Getting mad at an inanimate object is better than getting mad at another person or living thing (my husband, my kids or my cat).

However, if one is getting mad often at inanimate objects to the point where said anger becomes destructive (e.g. throwing things, breaking things, punching walls/doors, etc) - it is still good to learn some effective anger management techniques. Yelling and hitting things (even inanimate things) makes others uncomfortable, might cause injury to self or others by accident and is hard on our belongings.

More often than at people. I figure people can't help it and I have no right to expect them to act predictably.

Sometimes. More likely if I'm already upset.

I'm prone to rage at video games.

Video game rage is the greatest rage known to mankind.

Getting mad at games may seem childish to most people. And it is. dwarf

ED has some very offensive content on it. Maybe a better link if possible?
I also get angry at my games very easily.

Yes. I'm constantly stumbling into things, and afterwards I'll give it a good kick or punch, depending on what it is. Also, if something won't stay on their place, like keep falling, or opening. I'll end up hitting it too, or throwing it, and kicking something else too. Sometimes, I'll bang my head against the wall, specially when I'm already upset, or kick things when I'm feeling uneasy, or want to keep moving, and feel that whatever I'm doing isn't allowing me enough movement. I believe some people would call it overstimulated.
