why would anyone listen to advice from someone who has to pay people to sleep with them, surely a better person to make 'offers of advice' threads would be someone who pulled easily and did not have to pay!

I agree with this one actually.
In five minutes or less around an alpha/silverback I know I cannot ever get into a relationship with them and that they bother me to the point it is not worth it.
With the others, it took a couple years before I felt that the relationship was not working and they were bothering me.
So all women I know want to have sex with me? O_o

I wonder if that counts words have sex in them?

How can anyone keep track of these errmmm rules/codes in the first place?
There was one posted awhile back, that if a guy said he likes the woman's shoes, it actually means he likes the woman.
When did that code come into that meaning?
Because the guys I have known that say they like a women's shoes, have all been cross-dressers.
If it gets any more confusing I will either stay in my nunnery (bloody hell not likely considering will I will be in a month)
or I am just going to have to cop a feel, if they are ready = they are interested, if not, well oopps sorry my mistake.

Roissy's advice often works in western culture. I've seen it in action and it works quite beautifully (or hideously depending on your point of view.
The reason I pay directly is simply because the AS symptoms hinder the skills that men need to develop romantic relationships with women such as being able to read body language, maintain attractive body language, know exactly what to say, etc. There are plenty of other guys on WP in the same situation. I chose to do something about my own desires as opposed to crying about what I don't have. (Paging Dr. Toad...)
Also from my observations, having a gf or getting married is an arrangement in which I'd keep paying more to get less and less. I've seen this all too often.

yeah, youve said all that before lots of times, I still think its a lame thought process though.
Ive met plenty of men who do not pay for sex emotionally or financially, and who were nice to women and got lots of sex.
Personally I could not enjoy sex if I had to pay someone to do it, I much prefer people wanting to have sex with me not wanting my money.
All your stuff goes on the premice that women do not like sex and will not sleep with people for enjoyments sake, which is rubbish. Women love sex and will sleep with men for free.
Comparing yourself to windging virgins does not support your case, they need advice from people who are successful not from someone equally unsucessful who only had sex cos he paid for it. The majority of those mens problems is that they dont leave the house and have low esteem- doing confidence building and self esteem work would be much more helpful to them.
I dont think any aspie could pull off the 'be a jerk' art of pulling as most of the time people are put off them for misperceiving they are jerks, what they need to do is highlight their strengths to women such as loyalty, security and love- lots of women like that and would enjoy a relationship with them. But they need to leave the house!

I've had my own issues with #39. Guys, never, EVER hang out with a girl like that. If you're the alpha-dog type (or even if you're not), those are the love 'em and leave 'em girls. Have your one night of fun. Get up bright and early the next day before she wakes up, and never look back. And do NOT think about what could have been. All you had in one night is all there ever was.
I say that because I've been there and tried to make something happen with that girl. I kept up with her for a little while. She married this guy whose family was loaded, but HE wasn't. These people are the types that don't believe in supporting their young adult children but force them to make it on their own. When they got out of college and got married, SHE had a job but HE didn't. And no matter what, the job market just wasn't opening doors to him. So (gasp) their marriage fell apart.
She was totally into the guy, I think, but it was that whole "for richer or for poorer" thing that just wasn't happening. And she probably thought that marriage was SUPPOSED to work and she was confused why it didn't. So she went through her horny slut phase in the aftermath and ended up getting pregnant with some random guy! She remarried some college professor/regional author (meaning sub-par historical non-fiction due to the "publish or perish" mandate) and is now living the easy life again, having once again spawned.
#25 is so true. Anyone who wonders why has trouble understanding feedback loops. From a practical perspective, my wife and I agreed never to use sex as reward/punishment. That's one of the few non-negotiable elements of our relationship. The only condition for sex is that we both want it and that we both enjoy it. If "it" ain't happening, stop immediately, try again next week. Withholding sex solves NOTHING. It's the nuclear option in a relationship. A SMART woman won't use sex as a weapon. And somehow women are wired in such a way that the opposite has no effect on them. I really have no idea what the equivalent would be. CONCLUSIVELY PROVING a woman to be wrong about something? I dunno... The response to that could be, even if she's undeniably wrong, that the conclusion comes about as the result of a MAN'S logic, which in no way is capable of making sense of a woman's mind. Such things are best left alone. The man in the relationship should break up with the girl if sex is in the picture and she threatens to withhold it. In the context of marriage, this doesn't really work. The best advice I can give is be careful who you marry. In some jurisdictions, withholding sex can be considered grounds for divorce under a variety of legalistic labels.
Incidentally, in my own marriage I've got a lot of things working against me. #1, my wife has a degree in psychology. #2, she's a paralegal, and quite good at it. We've discussed marriage law in our state, and we know well enough going the divorce route is NOT in either of our best interests. Anyone even THINKING about getting married should spend some REAL time talking out how the marriage is going to work and what you expect from each other. If you both see there is cause for doubt in areas like money, family, sex/intimacy, and other things you value, it's best to part on good terms.
#71 (first one), also agree. And I'll add that if you want to CONTINUE having sex, don't get married. Kills the libido (hers, not his). Even worse when you have children. But there is a bright side, though one that tests your patience. After roughly 18 months, give or take, after giving birth, the "horny slut" in the wife CAN come back. Taking some form of steroid (cortisone, oral prednisone for unrelated illness) seems to help, also, as long as steroid use is not prolonged (it has long term NEGATIVE effects when used too much).
As to the rest, I know it appears that being a jerk attracts and keeps women more. But to be perfectly honest, I don't think I'd enjoy being with the kind of woman that is attracted to jerks. My wife had come out of an intense, abusive relationship just before we started dating, and I tried encouraging her to find "herself" within our relationship, not something that someone else molded and shaped her into. I was "molding and shaping" in my own way, but my main point was that the inner woman come out, that she be confident and assertive, and that she stop being someone else's doormat. I like to think that I "rule the roost" in our marriage and in our household, but the truth of the matter is we actually make pretty good foils for each other! I don't have to be something I'm not, which is the @$$hole that men are "supposed" to be, she doesn't have to feel unworthy of respect, and we both have individual and equal roles in the relationship.

My attraction to him turned off like a light switch. I do not like bullies. That kind of thing might work on any random woman at a Jerry Springer Show taping, but not me. Incidentally, I was right about him. I knew him for years and if he wasn't a sociopath, he was pretty close. He definitely was a serial abuser.
