I searched and searched all over the internet to try and find a place where Aspie kids, tweens and teens could interact with each other. My son has Aspergers, and he's at an age where he wants to find others "like him". My search has lead me here, to Kids' Crater and Teens. That is the only resource I could find. I found just about everything else, mostly geared directly towards adults with Asperger's or their parents.
So, I set up ASpenpal. It's a yahoo group where kids/tweens/teens can "talk" online in group email format.
Right now we're in our "infant" stage. Just getting it started, but as of today, we have 14 members! Yay. If you're interested you can search yahoo groups for ASpenpal, or contact me at Zoemakes5@yahoo.com. |
