I suppose that is a good step. She and I have met with eachother for nearly 4 times a week on average the past month. She is getting a bedroom and I am getting my own.
So no naughty stuff! Just moving away from parents. |

| You suppose? A good step? Friend, you're leaps and bounds ahead of me. I'd give you a congratulatory pat on the back, but I'm afraid I'd end up smacking you in jealous rage. Keep it up, you're doing great! |

I'd say it's gone reasonably far, especially since this would be your first shot at it. Besides, it's still leaps and bounds considering I've never even had a girlfriend in the first place.
God I suck. /wrists |

| I think I am lucky, It was difficult to find anyone to socialize with. Let alone a g/f. |

| I think you are on the right track with sepparate bedrooms. I lived with my boyfriend and had my own room and it was great. |

Having your own space is definately a great thing. No matter how close you are to someone, its always nice to get away _________________ Bad command or file name. Go stand in the corner. |

| Congradulations, and good luck! Be careful, though--sometimes people rush into certain things a bit too quickly (I don't know how long you two've been together but yeah), but if everything's going great then no need to worry about that. I wish the two of ya the best of luck. |

sc
to me this seems awfully quick.
It usually takes me about 3 to 6 months to get to the real part of a boyfriend - girlfriend relationship where you get over the initial excitement and really get to know each other both strengths and weaknesses. This will happen faster if you move in together though.
Essentially after one month, you'd have no idea what your chances of being able to hold it together will be.
If you both have contingency plans should you not be able to stand living together at some point in the future, that you can both afford, and would be prepared to honour even if you (suddenly) thought the other person was horrible, then I think you will be ok. You might never need the plans but you don't want to find out the hard way that it was a mistake and then be broke because of it as well.
I think you are both old enough to make your own decisions about this. It will certainly be good for your social skills. |

Going somewhere prior to moving in together, her as my roommate as well as G/F will help get to know eachother better. She and I do not go on short dates, rather all day dates, several times a week.
I don't think going on a 2-3 day venture is going to fast.
I'm not passing up this opportunity, it would be crazy.. |
