You don't like people either? *high five* Hehe. Well, actually I like my friends and family, but they piss me off.
I don't know you too well to decide what it is you may be dealing with, but if I did I'd definitely at the very least try to help out. Sorreh.

Do you ever manipulate people, either for personal gain or for fun? Do you have a short temper and can get violent when angry?

My family & others say all that stuff about me & I was officially diagnosed with Schizoid Personality Disorder when I was tested for AS. I think the quacks only saw my Schizoid adaptation instead of seeing the cause of it.

I sometimes manipulate people fro personal gain because I'm extremely dependent because of my own issues & problems but I tend to feel bad about it. I have occasionally manipulated people for fun as well but that was because those people have done things to me & turnabout is fair play sometimes. Short temper can sometimes be related to being overly sensitive; I have that problem & getting violent when angry can sometimes be related to Aspie meltdowns.
OP do you use, trick, manipulate or hurt others because you take pleasure in it or think victims get what they deserve because they were weak, trusting ect :?:

Did you ever stop to think that's just pretty normal?

Why attach another label to yourself based on what sounds like typical human behaviour?

Anti social personality disorder is more than not wanting to socialize with people nor be around them. Look the condition up and look at the criteria for it.

Not wanting to socialize & be around people can sometimes be Schizoid personality. Lots of people misuse the word anti-social & think anti-socials are loners. I've been called anti-social a lot & I looked it up a bit & I do see how I can appear to have some characteristics of it to others but anti-social is probably the personality disorder that would least apply to me. Anti-socials generally have good social skills but they lack conscious & are prone to criminal behavior like con-artist. Also anti-socials generally do not care that they have it; they don't feel bad about it

Yeah, people on this forum confuse "antisocial" with "asocial" all the time, and it pisses me off.

Hmm, how to rephrase...

Do you ever manipulate people's emotions, either to get them to like you, to get them to do something for you, or just for amusement? Anti-social people have a certain charm to them, and use that to manipulate people in that way.

I have anti-social personality disorder, and I have a great sense of humor. 8)

I have considered myself anti social because it means to not socialize right? But antisocial personality disorder is different.

Could be avoidant personality disorder (I think there's a PD for that)

Anyway, this thread probably belongs better in Bipolar, Tourettes, Schizophrenia, and other Psychological Conditions.

See you there.

Manipulation, atleast for me, i something that comes natural. Its not something that im generaly aware of. Like yesterday, i subconsiously manipulated my mother to tell this great story about me, something that wouldnt have happened unless i played the cards right. Cards i never planned in the first place. It happened though, and i gotta admit i wouldnt have expected it to go about the way it played out.
My initial thought was, "oh she should say this and that" and after a few minutes she did because i made it happen in a way thats subtle. Its VERY natural to me to be manupulative. Subconsious manipulation happens just as often as consious manipulation does. I never tell myself; "oh, lets use this manupulative tactic to blabla". It just happens, and im often in the spot where i look back at a situation and see myself from a 3rd perspective where i cause something i want to happen without even giving it much thought.

Anti-social Personality Disorder? Then you wouldn't be posting here.
You'd be scheming your way up the corporate ladder, or a notorious chronic criminal.

I think you're looking for words like asocial or social phobia.

Asocial seems to be closest to schizoid personality disorder. Maybe the OP have SPD?
