I do regularly get stress from my family and I can get depressed and upset for hours. I am actually uspet at the time of this post due to stress from my parents and my brother.
Often, my brother will say things like "Why do you want to have that crap running anyway" or "Why does it interest you so much" and this results in an argument. I am often told "Boys, Stop it!". The argument then continues to exist and then comes to a halt. At the end I get a meltdown, or get in a stress, most of the time. My brother actually said to me "Get a life" and "You never chill out". Things like this make me feel that I can't cope in life.
Then I talk about it to my parents, who don't punish my brother for starting up the argument/making such a big deal over a slight thing that I said. Then they say that I should snap out of it, and say things like "I never relax with you".
Things like this often make me feel like I can't cope in life and make me just want to live on my own, with nobody to pester me. _________________ If the phrase "you are what you eat" is correct, technically we must all be cannibals. |

Sometimes just planning how you would go about living on your own, might take away the stress. Would you be able to afford it where you live? _________________ Dory: "Just keep swimming. Just keep swimming. Just keep swimming, swimming swimming. What do we do? We swim, swim, swim." |

I'm only a teenager, but I do think that sometimes I want to live on my own, despite having no income at my age. _________________ If the phrase "you are what you eat" is correct, technically we must all be cannibals. |

Living on your own as a teenager sound incredible in theory, but in practice, a lot of little things can rear their ugly heads. That would stuff like utilities, doing laundry, cooking, etc. Not only that, you have to buy everything to furnish your apartment. That would mean you have to work full-time to afford all that. But with school, working full-time is virtually impossible.
So while I would have loved to live on my own when I was a teenager, there were too many details to worry about. Besides, what if there were bullies in the apartment building? |

God, sounds very similar VERY similar to what it was like growing up for me!!
I always ALWAYS told basically that I never relaxed or that I was difficult or that I somehow was wrong/did things too differently etc .... when I was in junior high my bro would pick fights with me, mom would side with him, etc. Got better as I got older. No fun tho I sympathize. Only thing you can do is wait it out till you're older and can get away - college is a great escape.
