I've watched Bill O'Reilly interviews and they are all basically the same. Bill O'Reilly bullies the person he is interviewing and then ends the interview when the person begins to say something especially smart.

Bill O'Reilly claims that he defends traditional values - however he doesn't seem to think that the 4th Ammendment and Consent of the Governed are traditional values because he supports the Patriot Act and the War on Terror. Since Bill O'Reilly claims to support traditional values despite not actually caring about them he is obviously a mindless tentacle of the Republican elite, despite the fact that he claims to be an independent.

I rather enjoy his show. Bill O'Reilly tends to have a nice selection of guests with widely differing opinions. Not many shows are like that. The debates can become heated, but from what I've seen generally not over the top.

He has a nice blog also that I check out from time to time.

I'm guessing that pretty soon everyone who's not a bleeding heart liberal is going to be deemed "cowardly". So far, it's "Gun nuts" and "Bill O'Reilly". Who's next? Roy Rogers?

I don't think I've ever watched Bill O'Reilly's show. I don’t know or care to know whether he is a “Despicable, Cowardly Bully” or not even though I doubt your definition of coward or bully would be the same as mine.

Try this; if you don’t like his show DON’T WATCH IT!
WTF is wrong with that simple concept?

Probably because general censorship of the opinions of others is more preferable to some than merely making a personal version of the Index.

This is why I say that the threat to our freedom's comes from the left, not the right.

But in their very heart of hearts, they know that they're right and that right is wrong and good is evil and evil is good. Isaiah 5:20-24 for the win.

I don't see how I've used the word "coward" wrong. I don't think all gun nuts are cowards but I do think you are a coward if you feel scared if you are in a store and have no gun. Also I do think anyone who is just a mindless tentacle of the Straussian Neocon elite like Bill O'Reilly is a coward.

A coward is somebody who is willing to speak insults with subtlety but who lacks the courage to speak plainly. Paranoid would be a more applicable term, not cowardice. But then again, people who are afraid of "gun nuts" are often quite paranoid and worse yet also nanny state advocates.

Coward: a person who lacks courage in facing danger, difficulty, opposition, pain, etc.; a timid or easily intimidated person.

Bully: a blustering, quarrelsome, overbearing person who habitually badgers and intimidates smaller or weaker people.

These are only from one source but they all pretty much agree, regardless.

So the big question; how does Bill O’Reilly fit the criteria of either?

:?: :?:

Watch your own video, the people complaining weren't saying they were scared to go into the store unarmed, but instead arguing that the policy might be unconstitutional and/or might encourage criminals to target the store for robbery. I mostly think the policy is misguided and would be an inconvenience for me if I respected it, and I suspect this is likely the feeling of most gun carriers out there. "Cowardly" is a bit of a stretch though, both in that thread and this one.

It is just a tabloid show. No rational and intelligent person would take him seriously.

I see your point about Bill. It's a shame he cuts people off or tries to shout them down. It's made possible because too many Fox viewers apparently don't want to learn anything new or hear real news, they just want their own views reaffirmed or justified by a T.V "news" show. But I am sometimes surprised when Bill concedes on certain points or takes a stance that shows he's not 100% blinkered. Just 80% maybe, lol. As Jon Stewart says, "He's not an ideologue. Where he works he's like the skinniest kid at fat camp. The sluttiest nun in the convent." He he he.
Glenn Beck however belongs on a street corner with a tin foil helmet.
