In enough time it will end(about 15 billion years).
Though maybe string theory gives hope that it will start again

But self replicating machines could in theory convert mass to energy and in effect destroy
the universe much faster. Infact it maybe happening some where rightnow. To really go
fast it needs to start in a lot of places about the same time.

2 year olds. . .Every time I go shopping it never fails. There is some two y.o. screaming at the top of their lungs. Which gives most other shoppers a major headache. Even scarier-if every two y.o. on earth joined together in one huge tantrum. . .oh the horror.

Lemme guess... The sun pumping out X40 solar flare - focused at and heading right towards earth.
It hits earth. Earth's magnetic field gets horribly distorted causing massive EMP effects, wiping out anything electric, taking down all of the satellites while atmospheric inflation sends the ISS in for an early death. Our ozone layer gets annihilated, leaving us at the mercy of UVB and UVC rays, but not before we all see one hell of an aurora display.

Nah. I saw that movie. Interesting concept but not very likely.
Two y.o. kids is the answer. Today while grocery shopping. The unmistakable sound of atleast 3 two year olds screaming pierced through the store causing wide spread panic and dread. From now on. I plan on taking earplugs with me while shopping.
Just imagine if ALL the two year olds got together and started one huge tantrum! The thought of such an occurance is frightening.

I hate bloody young kids. Hell, I especially hate 'em when they go to the library, only to run about screaming. Short of going on a psychopathic rampage (something I hope never to do), you can't do anything about it! What's even worse? According to my parents, I was exactly like that once!!!! AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAARRRRRRRRRRRRGGGGGGGGGGGHHHHHHHH!!!!!

But if you think about it, it's only a tiny handfull of people causing the strife. Everyone else just goes along with it like lemmings.
