As with many others on this forum I enjoy playing around with the various on-line tests. I had some free time this evening so I knocked up a version of the RAADS-R test that is a bit easier to use than printing out a web page and self-scoring. You can access it here. Please ignore the rather non-PC URL. That is a domain name I mainly use for spam tracking

Remember the RAADS-R test is purely a screening tool and is supposed to be supervised by a trained clinician. I have made it available purely for fun and no-one should attach any real significance to the results. I also cannot guarantee that the scoring is accurate. This is very much a work in progress.

If you spot any errors or have any suggestions for improved layout etc, let me know. Once I am happy with it (or get bored) I will make the source code available to anyone who wants it under a creative commons or GPL license.

If you know of any other tests that would benefit from being converted to similar format, let me know.

Your total score is: 179. This is above the threshold score of 65. You may have an autistic spectrum disorder and it may be worth consulting a qualified clinician.

Here is a detailed breakdown of your results:

Social relatedness : 91 (threshold 31)
Language : 13 (threshold 4)
Sensory/motor : 39 (threshold 16)
Circumscribed Interests : 36 (threshold 15)

I've done this before. This time, my score was:

Your total score is: 203. This is above the threshold score of 65. You may have an autistic spectrum disorder and it may be worth consulting a qualified clinician.

Here is a detailed breakdown of your results:

Social relatedness : 92 (threshold 31)
Language : 17 (threshold 4)
Sensory/motor : 54 (threshold 16)
Circumscribed Interests : 40 (threshold 15)

The other thread about RAADS-R is here: http://www.wrongplanet.net/postxf164094 ... 45f1d05944

My score that time was 201. I'm apparently fairly consistent in my score, at least.

Giving the most conservative answers I could, I got:

Your total score is: 133. This is above the threshold score of 65. You may have an autistic spectrum disorder and it may be worth consulting a qualified clinician.

Here is a detailed breakdown of your results:

Social relatedness : 76 (threshold 31)
Language : 2 (threshold 4)
Sensory/motor : 40 (threshold 16)
Circumscribed Interests : 15 (threshold 15)

The questions with "people tell me that..." were hard to answer I basically live like a hermit and rarely talk to anyone.

Social relatedness : 57 (threshold 31)
Language : 3 (threshold 4)
Sensory/motor : 48 (threshold 16)
Circumscribed Interests : 36 (threshold 15)

This test would be more accurate if they had a "sometimes" column.
The questions that refer to my friends were tortuous for me since I have none.

I understand metaphors and am very good with language.

Your total score is: 135. This is above the threshold score of 65. You may have an autistic spectrum disorder and it may be worth consulting a qualified clinician.

Here is a detailed breakdown of your results:

Social relatedness : 58 (threshold 31)
Language : 9 (threshold 4)
Sensory/motor : 46 (threshold 16)
Circumscribed Interests : 22 (threshold 15)

Edit: I just thought to add, I was expecting an even higher score for the "sensory-motor" section, but "social relatedness" is much higher than I would have thought, but that's because this examined how we were when younger, and I had someone help me with some I wasn't sure about how to answer. My range of "interests" and more OCD traits have probably always been about the same.

Also thought I should add, I feel a little guilty, because my scores were total: 137, social: 60, language: 10, sensory/motor: 46, and interests: 21, but then I changed some answers. :P

Yes. I built the form around that paper. The questions and scoring are as close to the paper a possible. Should I have posted this in the same thread?

Yup, I know what you mean. I suppose that is why they say you should have someone with you.

I deliberately left the questions showing so you can check your answers and maybe change them. This questionnaire expects you to have a high degree of self knowledge and to be accompanied by someone who can explain exactly what the questions mean. If you change your answers after thinking about them for a while or discussing them with someone else, the results may actually end up more accurate.

That brings up an interesting point. The AQ test is designed to be filled out unassisted and to a certain extent assumes that you don't always know the real meaning behind some of the questions. If you have a detailed knowledge of ASD, does that skew the results?

I know what you mean. I just looked up the criteria for the Simon Baron-Cohen AQ test and although it gives you the four options “Definitely agree”, “Slightly agree”, “Slightly disagree” or “Definitely disagree”, both of the agree options score the same as do both of the disagree answers. There is no scaling based on how strongly you feel about the answer.

No need. It's old. Anyone who sees this thread can follow the link to the old one for more discussion if they really want.

Thanks for putting the form up.

Your total score is: 152. This is above the threshold score of 65. You may have an autistic spectrum disorder and it may be worth consulting a qualified clinician.

Here is a detailed breakdown of your results:

Social relatedness : 70 (threshold 31)
Language : 13 (threshold 4)
Sensory/motor : 35 (threshold 16)
Circumscribed Interests : 34 (threshold 15)
--------------------------------------------------------------
This time I did it with the help of my mother, and my sister also helped a little. So, there's a significant difference in the score, last time I did it it was 135 (I've given those pages to the psychs who evaluated me).

I think it does. Anyway, thanks for your work!

Social relatedness : 56 (threshold 31)
Language : 8 (threshold 4)
Sensory/motor : 35 (threshold 16)
Circumscribed Interests : 30 (threshold 15)

Some of the questions I hesitated to say were true because they were only true to an extent or true for a short period of time (before I was able to adapt). Hmm, maybe I am an Aspie after all :P

Thanks :) I think it's a very nice test. I missed 'sometimes' option. Also I think those metaphors are brillian example of how I feel about them, like imagining heart on your sleeve.. Makes no sense!
Your total score is: 183.
Social relatedness : 97 (threshold 31)
Language : 14 (threshold 4)
Sensory/motor : 46 (threshold 16)
