I wonder If Ol' Grover knows that "blue states" pay much more in tax than "red states" ie Blue America basically supports Red America.
I have no interest in this Grover person nor in the TV presenter in the clip above, but after watching the clip I cannot help wondering: when is it ever not ironic to call a group of people name-callers? Say if there was a club of 100 members, every one of whom was standing in front of a person calling him "stupid" and "fat" and "ugly" in response to his political views. Could that person then call the group a bunch of name-callers?

I've seen no shortage of blatant contempt from the democrats for anything they consider rich or even middle class.
Even the democrats that are rich themselves have the nerve to hold other rich people in contempt.
For the republicans it's more a matter of disdain for that "I'm entitled" mindset and those that are determined to be moochers for life even when they don't have to be.
I can't think of any instance of republicans taking a stance against anyone that's made a valiant effort to help themselves.
I think I've covered this enough. If you all want Norquist to add to your looooong list of conservative boogeymen then have at it.
