I am honestly not very surprised. Due to mini-computers in phone-shape and unchecked internet access children at that age have the models, curiosity and physical maturity to watch and understand (at a basic, physical level) films like that. It's not a very huge step to go and try it out yourself - especially if the aforementioned phone also has a film camera included.
I don't think they knew what they were doing on a larger scale, it's just seeing and imitating because it's consiedered "adult" and "cool". Like smoking. |

Probably so if they attempt to make porno in an empty classroom at school.
Younger boys at my school ain't much better. We find them clumped up in hallways.

12 is the age of consent in Mexico, but I don't think it's legal for them to record themselves.

| I'm sure this is not the first time in human history that 12 year old kids have sex. And it is certainly not the first time that immature kids do something incredibly stupid and embarrassing. The question is, why were they unsupervised in an empty classroom and had unsupervised access to recording equipment and the internet? Both parents and school teachers should be familiar with modern media and information technology, and monitor children enough to prevent things like this. |

Why is this surprising??
They see sex in advertising and on TV. Their peers talk about sex constantly (at least, I assume that hasn't changed since 1989). It's "hot," it's "cool," it's what (seemingly) everyone who matters is obsessed with.
And THEN, unless they're really lucky, responsible adults who have had time to get used to the idea and learn to cope with their hormones (like parents, teachers, church leaders, friends' parents, et cetera and ad nauseam) deal with the issue by saying, "Don't talk about that! That's dirty! Keep your pants up!"
While "Keep your pants up" may, actually, be excellent advice...
...what you have is a community of half-grown people developing the impulses of adults but still possessing the judgment, reasoning skills, and impulse control of children.
Figuring it out, basically, on their own.
Do you have to be an Aspie with a liberal-arts education to be able to set aside emotion and social conditioning long enough to understand why, logically, this just isn't a good idea????
Doesn't seem that hard to me.

| It's very easy for kids to have access to empty classroom and as mentioned before a lot of phones have recording equipment. When i was in school i personally knew a girl that had sex in an empty classroom. Teachers don't stay in them and unless you're obviously up to something you can get away with almost anything at school. I know i roamed around school unsupervised for hours and did plenty of things in my time that had i got caught would of gotten me expelled i just never raised any red flags so no one thought i needed to be monitored really. |

| And this would explain why Republicans this year are forcing the Age of Consent up on many states, and why they are trying to Censor the internet like SOPA or PIPA, because of stuff like this, I think it is a matter of time before this gets noted among the reasons of one country not too worried about their consent, but when it is on the internet when not filtered, then it could get the Government's attention. |

I don't get what people, adult or kids, find so neat about porn. I've never really thought pictures of people undressed would be very exciting. I can think of many other much more exciting things I can invest my time in.
