One of the youth workers at my LGBT group met his husband on Gaydar.co.uk. I'm fairly certain it's a UK based site, and you haven't stated your location. My friend met his boyfriend on Tagged, although I find that to be a very shallow and youth oriented place. So, if you're over 21 it might not be the right place.
Dating sites can be very good, but I think it's crucial to work out which ones are best for each age-group/sexuality.

| I think that OKCupid is considered to be a pretty good one. I took a look at it out of curiosity but have since closed down my acccount. I wasn't really intending to use it anyway and didn't find anyone exceptional enough to make me stay (well, there was one guy who seem pretty perfect, but he lived several hours away). |
