Does anyone have a co-worker you just can't stand no matter how long you worked with that person? I'll give you a hint, he's has a six dollar black hair and he's skinny. His name is Alan Pope and I worked with at Safeway for almost five years. He thinks he knows everything and believes he's way smarter than me. He treats me like a dumbass when I make a mistake. He's the guy I couldn't stand.

in the army i had many an entire duty section whom i could not stand being around. in my civil service job in an army hospital, a visiting temp nurse told me that "this place has the devil in it!" meaning the whole duty section was chock full of evil schemers and backbiters.

It's the people who complain a lot like it's some good way to relate to others that really get under my skin. Because I don't like to be reminded day in and day out of the more miserable aspects of a job. It's one thing to have to pick up your dog's turds, quite another to get right in close and inhale deeply while doing it, and carry the bag around with you for the rest of the day.

I think I've had one of those at every job I worked at. Some worse than others in different ways.

I work at the same job for 11 years and there are at times where I have good days and there are days when I wish I had a different job and a different life.

Funny thing, I work at Safeway too and I hate it. So glad Im quitting in a week and half and starting a summer internship. I have 1 coworker and a manager I cant stand. The coworker is bossy, thinks she knows everything and overly critical about the smallest things. The manager is well just scares me, cant stand him.

What is your position and how can you stand working there?

Courtesy Clerk for 11 years and no I'm not giving up my dreams of becoming an actor/singer. It just takes time and paitence. I just have a fear of being homeless (I still live with my parents) and worthless.

ahh man Im a courtesy clerk too. Ive worked there for almost a year and the only reason why i didnt quit earlier is cause my parents and my job coach told me to stay. The job is boring, monotonous, tiring, and annoying. I feel 30-40 IQ points stupider on the floor then if you were to place me in an office in front of a computer. I cant think clearly, I get pulled in all different directions sometimes and I go around fumbling my words trying to answer questions to customers. How is it for you?
