What are they?

Mine are:

- Online.

- Doing something with a friend, like playing games together.

- Just being in the same room as someone, each doing our own thing but enjoying each other's company.

Mine are the same as yours. The "activities" I most enjoy sharing with a friend would be boardgames, a hit of squash, or bushwalking.

I like Video games and Intellectual debate or conversation. My friends invite me to house parties, but they're not my cup of tea.

The place where I socialise a lot with friends is a theatre bar, which is quiet, sedate and not very overwhelming to the senses. So that would be my answer. I love going there. Also, playing Scrabble.

Online friendships and just being in the same room as someone, each doing our own thing but enjoying each other's company.

Doing something. Anything but sitting around and talking...or just "hanging around".

  • Online conversation, possibly also texting.
  • Talking one on one with someone I appreciate.
  • Intellectual debate, ideally one on one, but with no more than two other people.

Same. Although if I click with someone I do like to just chat sometimes, but three is a crowd in terms of that. And I do run out of stuff to talk about after a while.

One thing I really like doing with people is outdoors stuff, like boating or cycling or even just outdoors work of some sort. Again though ... three is a crowd.

The internet. I don't know why, maybe I feel less shy talking to people who aren't in my family or close in real life. I get very shy, but talking to people on the interenet is a lot easier for me.

Mine would be when my subjects approach the throne to pay homage to me, their queen.

Actually, that wouldn't be half bad.

But for real, I do like online. I also like sitting around in small groups of people talking. I also like parties where there are a lot of people, many who I don't know, and everybody is expected to mingle, and that way I get to meet people and talk to them but I don't have to stick with somebody so long as to get bored.

If I were single, I'd love speed dating.

Likewise, I have to be doing something with friends, not just sitting there talking.

Most of my favorite social experiences revolve around my interests, such as jam sessions, road trip to a concert, going to art museums and galleries, working on homework together, watching movies I like, etc. I'm kinda selfish and childish that way. I just want someone to play with that likes the same games as me. I also like playing games, particularly Scrabble and Balderdash.

I also really like talking online. I sound much more intelligent when I can actually pause to think about what I'm going to say without it being a social faux pas.
