Bisexual homoromantic women? (and other combinations)

I am fascinated with the idea of women who call themselves bisexual homoromantic, and in particular it would make sense if this orientation is particularly common in autistic females. If I had been born with the same brain but in a female body, I think I probably would have been that way.

Essentially, these women have sexual curiosity/interest in males and females, yet truly fall in love only with other women. I say "truly" because I'd think they can probably feel something like a crush on a guy, though I'm not sure. How I saw one describe it, "my mind is bi or straight, but my heart is gay".

Why this would make sense for female aspies is, women are on average better caretakers and more likely to look up to someone who is gifted or "special", whereas men are more likely to expect to receive emotional care and be jealous of/competitive with someone with special talents. However, men are (it seems) quicker to connect with for women on the spectrum, and generally have more cool hobbies, etc., the things that would lead to shorter-term attraction. Plus a woman doesn't get to experience a penis and a male body in general all the time.

The way I see it is as a sort of variant of the "whore/madonna dichotomy", except an "excitement/support dichotomy", with men quicker to arouse or satisfy sexual curiosity but with other women better able to take care of deeper emotional needs that aspie women may not even think about in a short-term encounter.

Does this at all make sense?

I actually like to think of myself as the inverse-- homosexual biromantic (My body is gay; my mind is pansexual/demisexual; I don't even know what is going on with my heart, though I imagine that it is also pansexual)-- although I concur with the lines of logic mentioned in your post.

I think that "homosexual biromantic" is probably the most accurate way to describe my own sexuality. I am capable of developing romantic feelings for men, but physically I'm only attracted to other women, in addition to being able to develop romantic feelings for them as well. If I had a relationship with a man, I would be happy until the time came to be intimate with him. Then I would be miserable. But when I imagine having a relationship with another woman, I know I could be fulfilled in all aspects.

I used to define myself as homosexual heteroromantic.
