So, you guys, last month I finished my regular exams in 10 courses, and I was relatively pleased about them. This morning, I received a letter announcing where and when my oral exams for all these courses will be held, and I'm ecstatic.

This needs some backstory, as I have been trying to prepare for my exams for years now, and due to stress in my private life, have been unable to go through with it. But now, it feels as though I am standing in the portal of a new chapter of my life, if I can just pull off these exams. This means I'm going to prepare like crazy in the weeks I've left before my orals start.
I should perhaps also explain that, in part, I signed up for these exams as a joke. As it had become a running gag that I'd apply for them, and then back out every time, I thought to myself.. "Ehhh, I'm just gonna do it", and I was surprised at how easy much of it was.

You guys, this is really, really important to me, I've alluded to it in many posts in the past 4 years, not only here, but also on the Comic Book Resources forum, and, well, I just have this to say: I am going to give this my best shot. I'm not just saying it, I'm going to do my absolute best. Because if I make it, I'll be able to do what I've been wanting to do for years now, and that's return to school.

Just had to get that off my chest.

All the best and, judging from what you've just posted, you're definitely on the right track Smile Preparation is always stressful. In fact, that stress is a good signal because it means you're preparing yourself. Just keep your can-do attitude and you'll do even better than you expect. Well, you probably don't need me to wish you luck, but instead just to know that the 'Wrong Planet people' offer support.
